I loveee that color! 😍 I also really like the open toe sandal version w/ chunky heel - would probably help with the sweating problem. True that having ankle straps make it more comfortable to wear. I think pointy shoes are soo chic but I always feel like they’re too narrow for me :( Glad you talked about the fit and how it affects wider feet 👍🏼

I have my eye on the ope toe sandal version for a while now, they look gorgeous! Just way too many things on my wish list this year oopsies. I agree! Pointy shoes also make your feel longer which can sometimes be a hit or miss 😢.. Thank you for watching!! 😊❤️

I just ordered the black in grain leather. I tried the patent leather in Saks in 2018 but never purchased it for some strange reason. I purchased a different shoe instead.

Hi! Is the pointed toe area all smooth with no visible bumps or ripples? I’ve been having issues ordering online and directly from the Toronto boutique and they all seem to have ripples or bumps along the patent leather at the side of the pointed toe area where the patent leather wraps around. The Toronto sales associate informed me this may be due to the fact they are all hand made and not mass manufactured. Just wondering if you encountered the same issue with your heels or if this is just a recent issue with Valentino rockstud caged pumps?

Thanks for watching!! Mine doesn't have bumps- when I went to buy mine, the sales associate said the same thing that they are not exactly all perfect. The only thing note worthy from my experience is whether or not the heel area was straight or nicely tucked in. However I would try to find another one that doesn't have bumps like you said! 😊💕

@@samanthamok For caged heels, go for .5 or 1 size up however it depends on your foot. I have wide feet. My first was the nude pink like yours. Also got black with gold studs which is a statement piece, the crowd just stares my heels 😍 I spray the heels with collonil spray carbon pro to protect it

I think they're closer to 101mm! Try the heels with 2 ankle straps- more of a kitten heel style.

Those straps do not look comfortable at all, & would definitely leave horrible marks on my feet.

The straps aren’t too bad! I’m super grateful they make walking a whole lot easier. I think try sizing up if you want loser straps and don’t want the marks.

Hey..I got the black in these with the 2.5 inch heel, in a half size bigger, as instructed on the website. Should we spray these with Apple guard?

I never did! I don’t think you need to, the leather doesn’t patina or change colour. If you swear these heels when it rains just be sure to dry them off asap.
