Siempre tan comparadas pero eran estilos muy diferentes, físicamente existía cierto parecido pero nadamás. En todo lo demás eran muy diferentes. En la pasarela Valeria era discreta, sofisticada, elegante mientras Claudia era más expresiva, llamativa, sexy. El caminar de Valeria era mejor que el de Claudia pero un poco plano, Claudia nunca aprendió a caminar sobre una pasarela pero lo compensaba con ese encanto que tenia. Ambas eran producto de mercadotecnia por el simple hecho de haber sido "chicas Guess" al inicio de sus carreras, lo cual las catapultó a la fama en el continente americano y después a nivel mundial. En el caso de Claudia el éxito fue impresionante con sus contratos con Revlon, Pepsi, etc. Valeria al ser comparada desde el principio con Claudia creo que no le ayudo tanto. Si bien al principio eso le dio mucha fama, creo que las personas que manejaban su carrera se empeñaron en eso y al final lo único que lograron es que su carrera no llegara tan alto, además de que la era de las supermodelos ya iba en declive y las nuevas modelos ya no alcanzaban ese estatus. Creo que sus agentes desde el principio al percibir el parecido físico querían que fuera una "nueva Claudia" y sabían que al conseguir un contrato con Guess estarían dando el primer gran paso al tener inicios similares en sus carreras, "siguiendo los mismos pasos". Pero en la industria aún estaba vigente Claudia y era en ese entonces un monstruo. Cuál es más bella??? Ambas me parecen hermosas, pero creo que las imperfecciones de Claudia la hacían muy especial.

Claudia is more versatile, more complete as a model and in my opinion prettier, better facial structure, Valeria without been all dolled up looks a bit common. Neither of them walk well on the catwalk, but Claudia has much more presence, when she hits the runway you spot her right away, Valeria gets lost in the sea of models unless she's alone or with few models.

Totalmente erróneo, Valeria no fue la primera ni la única ni la última latina en caminar para esos desfiles; mucho antes que ella ya habían muchas latinas... No se porqué mencionan que Claudia era demasiado delgada, de hecho su peso era superior al promedio y su cuerpo era más voluptuoso. De hecho Valeria se veía más delgada. Solo hubo una temporada en la que Claudia parecía haber adelgazado, que fue justamente cuando apareció Valeria, y aún así, no se veía más delgada que las otras. Why was this even news? The last thing Claudia is, is a diva. It is not in her nature to get Valeria fired. She is far more iconic and successful in fashion than Valeria, who is considered the most famous and successful model of my home country, Argentina.
