OMG, I just get such distinct vibes from all 3 boys: I feel like Jake is born for the entertainment world so I can totally see him as an actor or some kind of stage performer. Hey!! Just a fellow Canadian Speech Therapist here! I’ve been loving the vlogs for years xxxxx I am noticing how mature and responsible Jake is! He is adorable! I also notice that the pronunciation of the “r” is imprecise at times in his speech. If that is something you guys notice as well or worries you, feel free to reach out to a speech langage pathologist near you!! I understand your family has so much going on too and he is super intelligible so it’s no big deal and he could grow out of it until 7-8 years old but the sooner the better xxx

That is probably because his family members are Russian speaking. We are used to roll our R’s in Russian and it is a part of the accent he got from his family. I am sure he will catch up once he spends more time at school with Canadian kids and copies their accent. As a non-native speaker I had the same problem, but it goes away once you speak to native speakers and copy their accent with time.

The initial comment said the “r” is imprecise. Which is opposite of Russian rolling “r”. (I’m a Russian speaker too). Jake is raising in the household of mixed accents, however his father is having 100% precise accent same as his school teachers and friends. I think this comment was very kind of you and sure the family will take care of this matter.
