What a great duet of a classic from Van Morrison. Valerie had such a wonderful voice,. I was reading what her best friend Kathy Kurasch, wrote about done of the people will remember her for being an addict, well if that’s what they can remember her for, after her singing vocals with many great artist for over 4 decades, then they don’t appreciate, ones talent. My favorite artist of all time, (James Taylor) who she sung vocals for, was an addict as well. I guess some will always remember him as an addict as well. But most of us will always remember the music that they sang, and sang so well!!!!! RIP Valerie.

So right you are Mr. Donald. Lucky enough to catch Valerie in Miami area in the spring of 1977 or 1978. Was on a dual bill with Don McLean and she to me was the main act. Had the vinyl at one time and was pretty much buying or listening to any record Lowell George was on... which was a lot from 73 to 76.
