OMG, that angel food cake is awesome!! I just made it. I give it a 10!! Thank you so much for this recipe. Its light, spongy with a light taste of pineapple, perfect. I'm 65 and never knew I could buy a cake mix and make my own angle food cake, lol. I like it better than what u buy at store!!

The angel food cake would be great with a coconut and crushed pecan icing on it! Or make devil's food cake cookies with a caramel and pecan icing on it. The combinations are endless!

Valerie you are great. I just recently found your channel and just love your box cake videos. I wanted to let tell you how much my husband loves the Strawberry Pie Cake with the strawberry pie filling. I just made it again today, that makes 5 times in the last 2 months. I even took it to a family cook-out, my 12 yr. old grandson had 3 pieces. We only brought home 4 small pieces. I am a chocolate lover so I do get a chocolate cake in sometimes. Hi Valarie, I made the blueberry bundt cake with a lemon cake mix. I zested two lemons and put the zest of one in the cake batter and made a drizzle from the other with the juice of both lemons and powdered sugar. It was delicious.

I make a Dr Pepper cake also, but i use Dark chocolate fudge cake mix, 1 can of cherry pie filling and one 12 ounce can of diet cherry Dr Pepper. Mix it, bake it, cool it, serve it with whipped cream or ice cream. Works with any cake mix, soda and canned pie filling. I'm disabled and can't be upright very long. But baking has always been my love language. And, I love baking with the Grandkids. Even I can manage 3 ingredients. 🎉

The cake recipes looked yummy. Going to try the angel food cake with the pineapple. I'm not a huge sweet person and this cake looks the least sweet. BTW, whenever I have left over frosting, I spread it between two gram crackers, put them in the fridge to get cold and give them to my kids for snacks. They love them!
