I had vacation plans to be in Rome this fall, but I doubt that will happen now, and sadly I don't see getting to Europe for about 2 more years. I had plans to try to see where this gentlemen works to get a shine from him, which would have been a privilege for me to get from him. I hope he is well, safe, and will still be in Rome in 2 years.

Der Schuhputzer hat ja so einen abwertenden Ruf. Die unterste Schicht. Das hat womöglich nur symbolischen Charakter. Ich wäre mir selbst dafür nicht zu schade. Hauptsache es bringt Geld.
