Take that Volume pedal and put it in front of WAH to get faster patching speed. It just works. 😊

Hi! Could you clarify the signal chain a bit? Is it Guitar > GP200 > Motu > PC? Thanks!

Sorry, I forgot to put the GP-200 in the signal patch but you are correct: Guitar > GP-200 (left and right XLR out) into the MOTU > PC.

@@Tone-Quest , was latency increased with using separate audio interface? Valeton can be used as an audio interface itself, but I believe the quality of it is far from the best. But I'm concerned if the latency will be significaly increased if I'll use separate audio interface (valeton latency + motu latency)

@@alexander_rakov Excellent question, and at this point, I would say there was no preceieved latency using the valeton into the MOTU M2. I would love to test and let you know for sure, but currently I'm not sure how to tackle that. Nonetheless, I'll give it some thought and see if I can come up with a way solid way to test it. According to the MOTU website, they state the MOTU M2 has "ultra-low 2.5 ms Round Trip Latency (at 96 kHz with a 32 sample buffer)."

@@Tone-Quest I'll look forward of that testing. I want to purchase a Focusright Scarlet, but afraid to increase a latency, so I'm currently using the Valeton as an Audio Interface. Unfortunately there is no any information about using a processor + audio interface in youtube, so you'll be the first who will do that!

I did some testing and I have a video coming out this Friday, but since you asked the question, I figure I would go ahead and share my findings with you. Test01 (GP-200 - Bank Patch) Latency difference between (Direct->MOTU) & (GP-200->MOTU): 4 ms Latency difference between (Direct->MOTU) & (GP-200 USB-C) : 41 ms Test02 (GP-200 - Patch with 1 Amp Sim and 1 Cab Sim) Latency difference between (Direct->MOTU) & (GP-200->MOTU): 5 ms Latency difference between (Direct->MOTU) & (GP-200 USB-C) : 84 ms Test03 (GP-200 - Patch with 1 Amp Sim ,1 Cab Sim and 9 effects) Latency difference between (Direct->MOTU) & (GP-200->MOTU): 27 ms Latency difference between (Direct->MOTU) & (GP-200 USB-C) : 86 ms The video coming out Friday will give a little more context of how I did the testing, but the result for me was that I had better results in regards to lower latency just using the GP-200 as an effect unit and running the audio out to the MOTU-M2.
