A lot of people don't realize that I wrote & produced the duet version, played all the instruments on it & sang the majority of the vocals. I think due to Peyton Parrish not including my video footage in the music video on his KZbin channel (he only included the visuals of himself), people get confused and think it was all him. So, due to it being mostly my work in the first place, there isn't a huge difference in overall sound here but there is a somewhat different feel to the song's mood with just my voice alone. After the events of the last year, I personally prefer it this way and I know a lot of fans will too, as you were the ones who requested this. As far as the Christian thing goes, I don't know his personal life but most influencers who openly profess and still perform everything without a clear line in the same usually call themselves Christians for a larger demographic. This is SO stirring and wonderfully done, although I admit that I really like the version you did that used the game footage, too. I’m not usually big on ‘metal’. But then, I do not find this version as ‘screamy’ as metal often feels to me. Instead, it is more about the drums and war horn with a true chant vibe to it.
