I had to stop this video towards the end, with around a minute left. I recently started looking up build guides and tips and stuff and your channel came up. Your builds are amazing, and I wish I could get something as nice built in Valheim. Someday I will. I had to stop the video simply because this sort of building was something my father would have enjoyed seeing, and possibly living in. I kept imagining what his reaction would be to seeing it and wish more than anything that I could show him. He passed away a few years ago and your video really hit me and I just couldnt help but break down when the music started getting more intense. Everything my dad loved was in this video. He lived on the water down in Florida, lived in a house on stilts and loved sailing. I want to thank you for helping me remember my father. I am going to be bookmarking this video specifically so I can come back to it now and then. Again. Thank you.

@@gtsev Any spear + bronze shield or better (buckler not tower shield) will make trolls basically the easiest enemy in the game since they are very easy to parry-block and are weak to pierce damage. What a beautiful video! Fun fact, the Vikings were constantly rebuilding their houses, every year inserting new wood. Because wooden pillars directly inserted into the earth, and in this case even - into the water, rots easily. Also, Viking houses typically had no windows. So with the chimneys burning hot at winters, people were literally gassed inside. ;)

The game has been out since what? 2009? 2010? Of course, the game is going to have more players recorded. Minecraft is not a GREAT survival game. Its GREAT at building but it does not have the survival experience people crave in the other games I mentioned. Minecraft is now just a cash grab for Microsoft. I mean shit, when Microsoft realized the game was no longer good enough, they had to add things to the game and turned it into nothing more than an in-app purchase center. The popularity around Minecraft is forced. It is not genuine. People playing Minecraft that are not kids are not really playing it for the true sole purpose on why they were playing it. It is just a perpetual snowball effect of pure pressure of people moving on from trend to trend. What makes a game good is not just a flashy display of new things and DLC all the time. I don't know if it will flood and certainly could. All i can say is those tides get huge high from the normal tides in storms. So possible!
@AnthemTD3 жыл бұрын
does that still happen if you're on a river and not the ocean?
@moerki9703 жыл бұрын
@@AnthemTD No, it only happens at the ocean. Rivers are safe, if you don't biuld right at the exit to an ocean.

All the outdoor structure is going to need constant repairs too? Any way around this aside from a roof?
@J_Bird773 жыл бұрын
Awesome job. The roofing is perfect. If you're not familiar with how to build roofs like myself, watching this gave me a great general idea. The way you did the framing with the wood beams is exactly what I couldn't picture in my mind. Once I seen it, the light went on like, ohhhh I get it now. Thanks!

I was inspired by your builds and build my first relatively good looking (if tiny) home yesterday, and I'm keeping my eyes out for the perfect spot to start building something bigger :D

I really love your builds. To the point you're the only one I look out for new uploads. I really want to see a small or mid sized build out in the plains. A Farm house/mini blacksmith of sorts.

Magnificent build there! I'm my server's builder and definitely inspired by this. Although, I fear that dock may rot due to water damage, and need repairs often. Felling trees is easy enough if you can find a troll to do the work for ya. Bring a cart to pick up all the wood left over. Don't forget to either dodge well or bring a shield. SKÅL
