It was worth it. These vocals fit the lyrics way better than the tone deaf female vocals of the official version. Nothing wrong with *joyful* female vocals in general, but when the song is about a fighter who has this rage he can't contain and how fucked you are when he finally gives into it, the vocal style really misses the lyrical theme

@Eric Sparrow Gameplay was fun, story had its moments, and its bad ones, but the ending in particular always bothered me, Dante and Virgil fighting to the death so suddenly after building an actual brotherhood dynamic the whole game was weird to me, that fight needed more build up. I get they were trying to make them rivals again like the originals, but it was too swift and poorly executed, though the battle itself was fun.

This is so fucking good, which is a rarity for bands who attempt to cover video games songs. Kudos to you guys! If I had one complaint though, it would be that the delivery of the beginning lines “The darkness of night falls around my soul and the hunter within loses control” and “This demon inside grabs a hold of me clenching its power trying to break free” comes off a bit bored with the way the singer does them.
