Correct. Hoshino at first just wanted to reach the main objective by stopping the rail gun hitting Abydos district before Hina intervened from the Sensei request. But legitimately, at least Hoshino is trying to incapacitated Hina in a close range but to no avail because Hina's fire power pressure is too great for her to handle in close combat range

gematria used hoshino's past trauma and stressing her to highest level as substitute for her becoming the terror. Shiroko terror is the primary example of it. chroma exposure only boost their negativite emotions tho. nagusa of hyakkiyako got exposed to chroma but did not become a terror thanks for her loner mindset, she secluded herself away from the hyakkiyako school so she didn't become a terror version. my speculation is the gematria is currently acting like the semi fake priests of the other timeline, the new gematria member that was spotted by plana is doing black suit's aborted objective. i only said that it was aborted because of black suit's agreement to sensei before he joined the org. the sad factor is that because abydos is the strongest school that having hidden powers, they're becoming the primary target for gematria because of their numbers.

There are currently 2 ways to make anyone become desperate and become a terror or other entity, 1 is through the influence of Chroma (as in Kuroko's case), 2 is through the Basement Dweller's words in other dimensions (as in the case of Hoshino Terror) because every student has halo and halo is mystic, mystic is transformed into terror, mystic in addition to providing physical strength, speed, durability, skills... to the students but it also helps hide the strength their true power (i.e. terror), and I can confirm that there are still many other ways to turn anyone into a terror or entity (remember that even normal human without halo will still become entities, as in the case of Phrenapates)

@@Toithatliemkhiet yup, and the gematria wants to see the result of their chroma versions that being varied through their halo appearances, and they will gonna use any methods to make the students to mindbreak, just like their halo of the terrors. chroma = negative energy and negative energy can also form from their negative emotions. the chroma influence only multiplied their negativity until they metamorphisized into terror. now we see the terror in abydos, im a bit suspicious that the next terror appearance will be either in hyakkiyako because of the volume 5 story is not yet complete or in trinity because of seia and mika's deep connection.

I just realized after rewatching this scene over and over again...but neither of them landed an actual shot directly to the other. Which is crazy because these two are specifically one of the toughest students in Kivotos, able to tank the hardest hits in the game according to the main story. I'm not sure if this implies that dodging is a priority for them since they can take out one another pretty quickly or that there's a reason why they are known amongst the strongest (even if Hoshino is relatively unknown) aka, dodging bullets/attacks is so natural for them.

I think they even state one is not wearing any vest or shield, making Hoshino slower here but is also pointed that Hina can actually resist more pain. She also immediately wakes up and keep fighting after Hoshino became terror btw.

Alright my fellas here comes a shizo rant from someone who has absolutely no idea whats going on in the JP lore but I found some correlation. So here goes nothing: (Summary: A terror transformation happens when someone is under high mental and physical stress, perhaps in the verge of death, this weakened mental state causes them to generate Chroma (which in the theory is just the manifestation of negative emotions) this sudden additon of chroma within the student causes them to loose their "spirit" his inturn changes their halo due to their new "affected" spirit. Again just a theory dont take it as fact please.) I think ive figured out what exactly causes a "terror" to form, I am unsure if its been explained or if im wrong so heres a shot in the dark. From what weve seen both Shiroko Terror (ST) and Hoshino Terror(HT) both have gone through significant "stress" before them becoming a "terror", ofcourse I have yet to see what caused the spark for ST to turn into a terror but I think it was her seeing her friends die (she had already been a terror when she killed sensei), and here we see how HT transformed which was after a significantly long battle against hina pushing her to her limits, with this is mind Hoshino (from what I can infer thus far from the hints ive gotten by JP players) is also dealing with her mental damage from all that happened before hand, (from the brokeneds situation to her dealing with her long dead friend). These two major factors caused her to "snap" and her halo to turn black. Now onto how this happens, I have a theory that if a kivotos student goes through enough stress and trauma (maybe even a bit of almost death) will cause a students "soul" or rather halo to snap, this in turn allows "Chroma" (which im pretty sure at this point its a "power" sourced from negative emotions, since it makes Kivotos students go mad) to form within their "soul" thus causing the transformation. I imagine that the transformation of terror is a somewhat enhancement of their current abilities like how ST now can summon their dead friends abilites in battle, it could also just enhance everything about them giving them raw power but in turn they go mad. Again I dont know if im right, this is basicallt what I infer from how much of the story ive been through (currently stuck tryna beat ST in the showdown) and from what ive noticed in the video. Do correct me if Im wrong because I'm pretty invested in this now. Side note since it just came to me: A terror transformation could also be the loss of innocence turning their world into one of dark, this reflects on the students halo or ather "soul"

I'm glad that Hiniature is always straight up portrayed as more "Physically" powerful then Hoshino. Hoshino can beat her, but very specifically in achieving whatever her objective is that Hina is trying to stop her from achieving. And if her objective was ever "Incapacitate Hina" she would likely straight up lose if she isn't in Terror mode. But the fact of the matter is that in a lot of cases Hoshino doesn't need to incapacitate Hina. She just needs to get past her. Outmaneuver her. Trick her. And Hoshino can do that very well.
