This is just to provide context for those who weren’t there. Please do not go around chat hopping and getting angry at those playing with her on her stream. They are all literally friends and surely will talk about things privately as adults. Rae also had to leave soon after the game anyway because of an interview early in the morning.

She was really smart to end stream when she did and for someone DRUNK AS HECK she was super composed while doing so. Being a famous streamer comes with so much invasion of privacy and understanding when to set boundaries to protect yourself is SO important. She was quick to react on her behalf. I'm so proud to see how far she's gone.

For anyone who missed it, Valkyrae cleared up on stream that she was drunk and Disguised Toast yelling at her made her overthink disappointing him as a friend. Valkyrae also admitted that her crying was not just because of that but because a lot of bottled up emotions lately also came out, however she did say it was good for her to let it out anyways. Disguised Toast also sent her a box of apology donuts the morning following this stream.

If you've been drunk at least a couple of times in your life, sometimes any small and insignificant thing can trigger an emotional response from you. That is completely normal and happens all the time. For example, when I say something to my buddy sober and he ignores me, I don't really care about that, but when I'm drunk and the same thing happens I can get upset with thoughts like "why people are never interested in what I have to say ever??". You're not necessarily upset with the person or even about what they said. It's pretty much the same with Rae. I think she just got "drunk upset" about something, so she ended stream and deleted the vod. That's basically it, the full extent of what happened, but other people make it so weird with all the chat hoping, shipping and hating. It's ok to talk about it, but don't be weird, rude and disrespectful to others.

Yes! So one time I was with my buddies and one of them didn't want to take another shot. So I was like ill take it for you and he hits me with the "You're an alcoholic" and we always joke about that but for some reason that shit got to me and I started crying lol

It's not cuz of the alcohol, not rly lmao. It's cuz ppl aren't attuned to they selvs. On the day to day ppl ignore or repress so dam much so that when they loosen their inhibitions with alcohol they can't repress etc anymore. So rly only weak ppl cry while inebriated for the most part lol cuz they always hiding away from these feelings and thoughts that can only come through when they drunk

I think she just teared up a little after getting yelled at, which is pretty reasonable when you've had some drinks. I felt like she would have recovered but you can see her start over thinking and really feeling bad after people were chat hopping to tell toast he made her cry and he says "let's all take a deep breath".

Everyone (besides Miyoung) took a “jab” at her that round… literally just banter between friends. To say Toast was the cause of it because what? He shouted? He always shouts, and if his FRIENDS had an issue with it they would talk to him about it. If something was said that really upset Rae then she would talk it out with that person (not during a stream with thousands of viewers). They are adults and can work things out as such. I enjoy watching all of them and can’t wait for the next stream!! :)

Honestly though, if you're struggling in game and feel like you can't do anything right, and people are joking/insult/yelling(but being serious) it compounds those emotions by drinking. Rae didn't have to appologize for reacting that way or for having those emotions. I did think toast didn't read Rae before making those really digging jokes and maybe went to far unknowingly. I know why she's keeping the peace but hopefully they had a real conversation behind the scenes, it just irks me how she apologized for what toast had to go through after she ended the stream.

i saw the explanation video before i saw what actually happened and ahhh it makes me so anxious thinking that people are going around thinking this is serious without context. like dude she was really drunk + period + other stress and emotions so it's not hard to imagine a tiny thing pushing you over the edge haha. and once you start getting the tears its REALLY hard to make them go away, so youve got the difficult choice of crying on stream or silently ending it, neither is gonna go well with hyper protective fans

It’s wasn’t that serious at all lol. Rae was drunk and on her period, she was more easily thrown into a certain emotion. Toast yelled at her and her tears welled up when she thought about disappointing him. She said if literally was nothing and that it was because of all the factors. They are long good friends and this wasn’t an actual problem like some people think. Also Toast didn’t know what happened but he sent her apology donuts anyways, like the tsundere he is. I mean I’m sure she felt hurt at the moment but I can tell she wasn’t hurt by it all afterwards. It’s like one of those down days when you overthink and everything becomes sad even though normally you don’t think of things like that.

I swear I hate being an Empath. I read so much into people's feelings and feel it myself.
