What’s the answer. I’m kind of going through this now.
@ToBeHidden145 ай бұрын
@geez5059 Honestly, my answer is to realize that being in your 30s is still young, and you have time to change and do things with your life. I have always felt I wasted my 20s until my dad passed away at 27, and I had awake call in life. Stopped working at my place of employment at the time, started college and got a degree that I'm currently working with. I am now 30 and even have my sights set on being a doctor now. I have start my own KZbin channel and stream on twitch when I can. Do I get views? Lol no. But I truly told myself I'm going to be 40 one day hopefully no matter what so I'm going to do give it my all and shoot for the moon. Keep your head up brother you got this.
@geez50595 ай бұрын
@@ToBeHidden14 do you feel as though doing things you previously saw as fun is now a waste of time? And or do you feel bad about wasting time? If so how do you deal with that? Like right now I feel as if I’m spending time not working toward my goals then I struggle with letting myself enjoy that time. Which then kind of makes it not fun like before. Thanks for the advice by the way it’s really appreciated!
@gloriouspurpose_5 ай бұрын
@@geez5059 I'm still in college so I can't say much.. but i would say to just remember that work is work. It isn't your life. Also don't let your peers and boss convince you it's anything more than that. I joined some clubs, got into the gym, tried a volleyball club.. i'm also Christian so I met a lot of people my age at this new-gen church. As far as your income goes I would say try to acquire some new skills in your free time, don't stay stagnant. There's a lot you can find online, even for free. Could even be learning a new language. Think about what you can do other than where you're at. Good luck out there.
@ToBeHidden145 ай бұрын
@geez5059 depends on your definition of fun. If you mean going out and drinking and partying, then no, I don't necessarily view those things as being fun anymore. However, I do find working on myself to have a better future to be enjoyable for sure. Is it stressful? Absolutely, lol. Will it benefit me in the end? I have no idea. I still take time to do things I enjoy, too. I still go fishing and play video games because you have to have some break in the grind called life, but in the end, the hunger to better myself comes first. If I feel I have made progress or atleast step towards that goal I am happy. I wouldn't have said that if you had asked my 5 years ago when I was making $13 an hour working in a warehouse.

I'm sure she's been using this type of harsh self-talk to push herself towards the goal of attaining her ambitions. I'm also sure she's aware that this self pressure she puts on herself is a consequence of the various social & economic pressures her industry and capitalism. I hope she takes the time to assess her alignment to her ambitions and ground herself in the present where there are no expectations and nowhere she needs to be. I'm certainly still working on integrating this practice and realization myself, but it's certainly helped me move past a period of lethargy and idleness.

Midlife crisis? I had a crisis at 32 but it was an extremely nasty divorce, lost good-paying job a yr later, rehab, tried rebuilding life until S2 Hodgkins hit (remission 9 mths later). Now I'm 52 and living on disability. Everyone copes differently and I certainly don't expect anyone else in this comment section to understand or give a damn, esp when it comes to someone who isn't a millennial or zoomer. But a mid-life crisis comes when you're in your late 40s/50s. For my age group, it's doubly worse cos the boomers still have power, the Xers my age who are content mostly reached their destination thanks to luck and/or help from well-to-do parents at the start. It's not even worth it to mentiom to the younger ' generation since they act and tell us that it'd be a better world if we just disappeared. Like I said, everyone copes in their way but it helps that she has plenty to money fall back on and a support system that values her more than most ppl I know personally. Nothing agst her, overall. This reply is more to some of the insipid remarks in the comment section. Some need to realize you can't give advice if you haven't experienced anything yourself yet, but those who have don't need to waste our time giving advice when so many under 35-40 feel they have all the answers to begin with, whether it's been programmed into their heads by their parents or b/c the echo chamber that SM and internet has become reinforces their superiority complex. Can't really give advice to a person who has 3-4 more figures in their bank acct than I do and made that money from becoming famous from playing video games. I went to college, got married and got jobs. Things fell apart. I'm simply surviving. But, if there is a reply, all it'll be is the usual 'bro wrote an essay about how he f'd his life up. Cry a river'. Ppl like this don't even need to respond to her comment cos who's gonna listen to your whining when/if you get to middle age? Esp if the response will probably be worse than ok boomer/irrelevant/guhkyoslf. Then again, why did I waste my time typing this?

I'm not in a pissing contest with her; the comments about worrying about tiktok and IG content comes off like shallow worries but that's the world of someone who's 'job' is selling themselves as a celebrity or brand. Sorry, I'm just too damn old and far away from that world (not like it's new; it was old when Hollywood was doing press bs in the silent era). Toxic? You don't know toxic til you've met my ex-wife and her insane extended family. But there's ppl 1000x worse than Rae and her gang, like the little s- born to Lori Loughlin who not only let her mother go to jail to buy her an athletic scholarship & taking it away from someone else but THEN making a point that she didn't even WANT to go to USC except to drink and party, that she was too busy getting free stuff to peddle and wanting to be a Kardashian. I don't understand that idiotic mindset and thank God my daughter wasn't that shallow and lazy. It's just the mentality of the mentality to think life ends at 35. A person, no matter how connected, can't run for President til they're 35. Apparently, they can't be under 60 until the last Baby Boomer pol dies and, by then, the Govt will be run by mills and zoomers & GenX will be Jan Brady and Fredo Corleone combined. Jeez, if I hadn't been looking for LA nughtcrawlers looking for car wrecks, I wouldn't have come across Fuslie playing Lethal Co and I'd be unaware of ANY of these ppl and bring in contact with any person below 40 cept my kids, who don't act like any of the ppl they grew up with, thank God. I def need to unsubscribe from these secondary channels and avoid their chats so I don't get ticked off by ppl who either haven't lived long enough to experience life or been in a bubble, self-induced or not. Imagine being super omega rich, being surrounded by super omega rich, doing cool stuff with them non stop, doing cool stuff by yourself too, and possibly those people being your friends too (we don't know how much of that is for show, after all, she hangs with Hasan, LOL) AND STILL feel like you're wasting your life. Damn, must suck to lack so much perspective. Then again, you don't get so rich by being happy with the little things in life.

Why not find an editor to help. Or encourage people to make a "MoreRae" channel and let them keep the revenue to help your stream grow? I have seen a bunch of people (Large Creators) do that.

Earlier this month she took almost 2 weeks off streaming, a week break and then got a cough and claimed she was sick. Crazy because every single day she didn't stream she played valorant 6-8 or more hours off stream. Longer than most of her streams. Where were the insta pics? Tiktoks? KZbin videos? Working out? Nope. Nothing but playing valorant off stream all day for 2 weeks and streamed I think twice. Also her youtube hours is like 30 per month. Her last contract was 50 per month and she said this one is even less. Imagine making millions and only having to work 30 hours a month... Meanwhile most people work 160-200 hours per month and barely scrape by while working real jobs.

She streams 30 hours a month but that doesn't mean she only works 30 hours. She still has 100T obligations as she is a owner. Between Meetings,Photoshoots and Videoshoots its much more then 30 hours a month.

This is beyond silly to me, she has the money to Outsource all of these actions to a professional who can compile everything together and maybe have a "social media day" where she knocks out long form content, that can be cut down into short form content and reels. Working out is all the same as well especially since most of staying in shape is dieting. She just needs to spend some money and get the right help

But Rar stream for what 7, 8 hrs? All the working class ppl do that as well and it is hard to manage time. And it does feel like time goes by right before our eyes. But Rae have the advantage of not necessarily even having to stream everyday. If i was in her position i would think about less work, and starting my own family before i am too old. Thought of making new and kore content wouldnt eve cross my mind when im lacking behind on one of the most important things thzt fulfills a persons life that is building a family.
