If I try to study and understand her case, here's my insight: The brain surgery didn't cause her memory loss. There is no memory loss. The memory loss is a misconception. The actual and real issue that happened here is the split personality. She already developed a split personality even before the surgery. The actual cause of the split is Chatty making her choose in the mines. "Cups" persona is Ray Mond, the real Ray, the one that we watched since 3.0, the CG Ray and the Clown Queen. Chatty making her choose, got her questioning herself and everything, which made Ray developed an alternate personality, this new "Ray Mond". This new "Ray Mond" seems like she is CG Ray Mond and Ray Mond 3.0 that we knew, but she's not. She is just a personality she unintentionally created. Like a parallel Ray Mond. She was develop by Cups/Ray for her own need, her need to see what it was for her (or at least what she think it was) if she didn't choose Chatty, or Chatty wasn't in her life. Let's just say the choices in the mines, the fork tunnel, was both literal and symbolic. Chatty making her choose messed her up. She loves Chatty, wants him, and of course gonna say yes to him. But like how she felt the need to go to the CG tunnel to see what awaits her there, she needed another "Ray Mond" to not go the Chatty tunnel, to see what it would be for her if she chose the other option,, so this new "Ray Mond" symbolically didn't choose Chatty. Then the ocean dumping happen and she got stranded for days, which made the real Ray/Cups even more vulnerable, which gave the new "Ray Mond" a chance to gain more control. The brain surgery is when this new "Ray Mond" won the power struggle. She managed to push the real Ray/Cups to the backseat, at the same time blocking all her 4.0 memories because that's when majority of the clown stuff and Chatty stuff happened. But this new "Ray Mond" believes she lost her 4.0 memories, because it is what makes sense for her and everyone else. It seemed like a memory loss at first, but no. The new "Ray Mond" just won and is now in control of her. The real Ray/Cups is just in the backseat watching the whole thing, helplessly. Until certain trigger points occur and the real Ray/Cups can temporarily come out. That is also why Ray/Cups can remember her whole 4.0 life and at the same time the present stuff that is going on while new "Ray" is in control. And with real "Cups/Ray" managing to come out once in a while, both the real "Cups/Ray" and the new "Ray Mond" are now fighting for control of herself. That is why she argues with herself. So in essence, the real antagonist in this arc is the new "Ray Mond" persona, but she's not a bad person. Again, it's not her past self. It's a just new persona she developed, unintentionally and unwittingly. A good conclusion that I can see for this arc is not her choosing between clown life or CG life or a brand new life. But for her, the real Cups/Ray, to take back control of her life from this new "Ray Mond" and accept that she is Chang Gang, Clown Queen, and even more.

That whole episode was perfect. Amazing flow and progression. This story needed a therapy scene and it was so cool how it happened at the jail. Great setting to show the conflict between wanting to get arrested so she couldn't leave town, competing against the idea of having a date in jail together with Chatty which they've talked about for so long.

Rae, each stream you outdo yourself with your acting and improv. It's been super fun to watch your skills progress, and also see all the creativity you've poured into this storyline. Your overarching plan for the character is super interesting and I'm excited to see if/how it plays out. Though I think what really elevates your storytelling are the smaller beats that you sprinkle in, like having Ray give the ring back in one scene and then Cups breaking down about Chatterbox taking it back in another, or having Ray get lost in the funhouse while trying to leave. Honestly, there's just so much for an RP fan to nerd out over.

Rae and Jagger both keep raising the bar together and I just can't understand how lucky we are that these two met in RP and they both understood the other knows what they're doing and have stuck to doing big arcs like this together; because honestly, only they can pull it off together. Rae can set up *anything* and Jagger can play along and make it look easy. Rae's creativity can shine here because this arc is about *Ray's growth* in a more obvious fashion than Chatterbox's. If this was Chatterbox's time for more obvious development, I'm sure the quality he'd put out would be the same as Rae's. Neither of them could pull off what they do without the other being so good at rolling with it. The fact this is improv is astounding to me. Never been so addicted to any fictional story as this one.

Rae played Ray Mond and Cups so well. The ping pong back and forth of the two sides of her was so clear. Not everyone noticed but those closest to her, and her therapist, noticed. I especially liked her using the vehicle of substances to fuel Cups' emergence. Her acting just gets better and better.
