i mean...you CAN still do it. hammer just got buffed. azmo still plants his face in buildings just as well as in beta, if not better. ziggy zag kills the minions with Qs and the rest can be thrown on buildings. valla can kill a tower in 2-3 minion waves if left alone from lv1. the specialist class lost it's meaning since the ammo on buildings was removed in my humble opinion.

They apparently regretted this addition early on, to the point where specialist users were even sorta punished for it in the casual scene. At one point, hero AI would prioritize laning specialists over everything else, including objectives. Never had that problem when I switched to warriors though.

I remember that heroes like Tracer and Valla allowed the double healer meta to actually be a thing. Consistent high damage, low durability heroes could wipe a team if they could be kept alive, and without them the double healer meta wouldn't have had enough damage to actually work.

Her gunslinger skin is one of my top favorites in the game Also if you play her with her own announcer, there's some of the funniest comments like "What demonic magic is at play ? That demon hunter... is me !"

I've never realized that the attacks those angels (objective) are shooting at each other to absolutely nothing. Not even 1 damage. The entire time the enemy team was dead the obj kept his 466 health until, for whatever reason, it went down to 465 the second you won the obj. Really weird.

couple of notes: death dealer is a very effective way to clear camps quicker at zero additional mana cost. its even better at clearing waves if you have some pretty high/accurate APM rain of vengeance is fantastic if used defensively... pretty much your only option if you want to survive being dived. the attack speed increase with the level 20, also pretty cool

Hey guys, just a heads up, you can still attack tier 2 buildings without them attacking you back at lvl 20. You just need to micro to go in and out before it fires at you, but it is possible since you have the same range.

Valla can still solo any building or even boss with the passive of the 20 Storm of Vengeance. At 10 stacks of hatred she gets a whopping bonus 50% attack speed allowing her to out heal the damage done.

So Pally made the absolute worst choices with Valla here, showcasing what you do not do more than what to do with her. Only take the face build when the enemy has a frontlines that will take your hits and when they do not have heroes that have point and click single target engages or when you have a pocket healer like morales. Otherwise you will not get stacks, you will die and lose your attack speed and will only keep dying. If you take face build, do not take the strafe. Face build is about autoattacking and you are not autoattacking with strafe. Also in general, if the enemy has point and click stuns, like butcher or ilidan ult or diablo smash, do not take strafe. If the enemy has point and click stuns, or heroes with blinds or evasion, autoattack builds will suffer. So the best bet is to take the hungering arrows, like this game. And if the enemy only has burst damage range mages, you take the multishot build, because that is the only way you can get damage done from far enough range. To play Valla vs a team that can kill you if they want to focus you is like managing aggro on MMO's. At first they will want to kill you at sight, because you are the easiest target, so you should run and dodge as much as possible and this takes precedent over doing damage. Run and stay with the team. If the enemy stops throwing themselves at you, only to have your team kill them, then you can be more forward and deal damage, but not before. And if you deal enough damage that they feel like your are the main threat, you have to go back to running and hugging your team. This is the only way to survive a quickplay.

This would have been a good opportunity to explain gambit quests and the risk/reward involved in taking them. (For example, all of his attack speed bonuses were gone mid-game, while he still had the damage bonus building from working on the quest).

Valla without someone to peel for her against a very dive heavy comp...generally gonna have a real bad time. Luckily there were other soft squishy types that the enemy could go for besides you so it helped split that unpleasantness off you. A malfurion would of been a god sent against that comp, but that's how Solo Q goes ya rarely get what you need on your side. -laughs-

donno duuuude, if you would've taken the other ult, you could've survived so much more. except THE butcher charge and illidan hunt, you could stun the other's charging on you. and the stuns in-between the walls around the arena to peel for yourself and team mates

@@VileImpin Actually, it’s still not better than simply auto attacking the squishiest target in his mosh. Strafe alone won’t kill anyone at a decent size health alone and they’ll all just walk out and kill you. Honestly, even just dropping two rain of vengeances would be higher burst than strafe. I’ve come around to strafe a little bit sometimes when I’m taking the hungering arrow build and I want to add on a bit more dps with whoever I hit from a distance but rain or vengeance still just gives so much more value.

67-12-1 now following your builds. This was a fun match. I was on a teal with Kaelthas, Tassadar, Leoric, and Lili. We had so much damage and the team worked really well together responding to each other's pings. I usually prefer the other ultimate to keep myself a bit safer but learning when to time strafe from the video helped a lot

When you hit level 20 it's not really that strong. Yeah you can outrange a lot of opponents. But acrobat with Q build and storm of vengeance with AA buiild is way more agressive and more punishing towards divers.
