Man. Your A-Z and my buddy got me hooked on this game. Varian has become one of my 2 or 3 favorite characters, and is a quick match king when played with an open mind. Even in tank mode he can do some weird amounts of CC and damage to a single target and walk away from the rest of their team.

aaaah the Dragon Shire map almost exactly like I remembered it from the last time I played this game years ago: both teams restlessly hopping from one side of the map to the other - teams unable to hold both shrines for more than couple seconds at a time - teams relentlessly throwing bodies at the shrines just to disrupt the enemy capture - *_90% of the match goes without a single dragon knight_* -> once the first one and likely the only one gets obtained *_everyone looses their motivation and the game is over_*

Because the right way to play is to focus on macro, just stall the cap and only take the knight if the enemy team is wiped. Players with no macro awareness just go back and forth forever until someone messes up.

Parry always blocked only auto atk damage, you have to take shield wall to get protected. The change they made was to reduce your charges when you took shield wall so you weren't just always invincible.

1st Dragon at 20:35 in game. That is why this is my least favorite map. It can stale mate for soooo long. Then the Dragon just ends it, not with a bang but a whimper.

Mate you should use your abilities after using Colossus rather than before to maximize combo damage. You don't need to use the charge to engage when Colossus has practically the same range. Also building damage on Taunt Varian is pretty fun and surprisingly effective some games.

I've been trying to solve an issue with Heroes of the Storm where selecting different keybind profiles doesn't change the binds in-game. The keybinds are always set to default no matter what, even if I change the keybinds on the default profile itself. Can anyone offer any advice? I've been pulling my hair out with this one :(

68-12-1 now following your builds. This was one of my first favorite heroes in the game but he kinda fell off for me once I got better at the game. That said I still prefer twin blades or taunt on varian. Smash is fun but not my fav. Now I gotta tell the story of the weirdest game but the most weekend HotS game I have ever played. The team I was on was split pushing most of the match and outright ignoring the first two objectives on Volskaya. The enemy team seemed to think we were gonna contest the objectives but instead the team just pushed other lanes and got a lot accomplished. When we did win the objective the pilot of the mech marched it all the way back to where you hearth in our base then walked it back out to the middle of a lane and parked it there. I say this is the most HotS match I've ever played because we won because we all seemed to agree on doing the wrong thing as a team and that seemed to work out well enough because the other team was expecting a normal game while some went to try to deal with the mayhem our team was doing which staggered deaths and was good enough to win us the game. I've never played a match like this before and I hope I never do again
