Hi Up to Govindghat you can take your vehicle.There you will get parking at Nominal cost. However the motorable road is till Pulna Village which is around 4 km from Govindghat. But only union cabs are operating in between these places. So till Govind ghat you can drive.

It's possible but the journey will be a little hectic. Ghangaria to Govind Ghat trek of 14 km Govind ghat to haridwar approx 300 km will take the next 10 hours road journey.

If I am not wrong Its almost 11 Kms long and 2 Kms wide then person who is visiting first time would definitely require local guide.
