Replace concrete tiles with slate

the beams would have been ok to support slates is my guess but when you add cement or terra-cotta tiles the weight must surely increase at least four fold ? am i right in that thinking ?

Thanks for your video, whats the best soloution or material to put in central vallies like that? Is fiber glass a good idea?

Hi this all depends on the size and condition of the valley beam and if it is sagging or has bowed.
