Wow, thank you very much for this video. We are on a long road trip and got stuck in a small town due to a leaky water pump in our 2006 sprinter. I ordered parts and 15 hours later picked them up at them up at the local NAPA, along with all the tools I knew I would need thanks to your video. I took things apart and put them back together , and we are back on the road 26 hours after noticing the breakdown. I have the information that you provided to thank for the quick turnaround. Much appreciated.

So you don't have to take out the headlights also? I'm stuck with a water pump leak so just doing some research the last video he took out the headlights also was seeing how much stuff I actually needed to take out as I'm in New York City and have to change my water pump

I use a stubby Allen key rather than pull all that off.

@@themetalgolem Good tip! That would have been nice to have 👍

DO NOT use the Torque settings suggested here for the bolts holding the pump to the block, you will strip the threads or snap the bolts. The correct torques are vastly less than those stated in the video!!!!

@@mrd8594 The torque values for the water pump are according to the workshop manual. Keep in mind these are inch pound values not foot pound values. Divide the inch pounds by 12 to get the equivalent in foot pounds if needed 👍
