@@shamimtemour It has taken a couple of years to get here. It's a process. A lot of du'at, a lot of just talking to Allah and putting my absolute trust in Him. May Allah make it easy for you. Remember this was written for you. As Muslims we trust in qadr of Allah. It's all good. Even if it's a life lesson.

The duty of one seeking enlightenment is to culture the quality of forgiveness, which is illuminating like the sun. The Supreme Lord is pleased with those who are forgiving. We should not associate forgiveness as to minimizing the wrong doings or justifying the wrongdoing forgivable rather forgiveness is a spiritual endeavor.

Subhan’Allah, a second chance means he may engage in emotional infidelity for a 3rd time with the same woman, it also means his Narcissistic behaviour will damage my children even further emotionally.

How do i forgive and forget about someone who just tells me they don't want to be in this marriage and leaves me with a baby. There's times I feel leave everything in the hands of Allah an on the other hand I feel like physically hurting the person out of anger because of the Disrespect of them just enjoying their life an carrying on an I'm left to deal with the pain and all responsibility... May Allah make it easy for you sister...Ameen Sister, I was married for 22 years and gave two children with this man. Due to an emotional affair and most probably falling out of love with me...he left. All I can say is that when Allah shows us someone’s character, we need to believe and trust what we see. Many times I didn’t listen and I ended up being with him for so long. The emotional abuse before he left nearly broke me, Subhan’Allah Allah will remove people who are not good for us. Insha’Allah you and your child are ok and you have all the support you need 😔❤️

The forgiveness is about you and your relationship with Allah not them. Just try to have little to do with them.

The first story of Hatib RA I heard differently, and the way I heard it makes much more sense than this version. In the version I heard, Hatib RA was allowed to leave Mecca but on the condition that if the Muslims were to ever come to attack Mecca that Hatib RA would send warning if that attack otherwise the meccans would take his possessions and harm his family… So Hatib RA made that promise so he could be free to do the Hijra and go to Medina… When the time came that the Muslims were going to take back Mecca, Hatib RA knew that the prophet PBUH would be told by Allah SWT about the letter and left it to Allah SWT because Hatib RA didn’t want anyone to ever say that he didn’t hold to a promise once he made it, and at the same time knew that Allah SWT would reveal the letter to the Prophet PBUH. So when the scenario plays out and they get the letter, the Prophet PBUH asks Hatib RA why he did it and Hatib RA tells the situation and the Prophet PBUH accepts it from Hatib as the truth… Which when you hear this version to me makes so much more sense than the story by Sheikh Sulayman. Hatib RA was never worried, he had faith in Allah SWT and his Messenger PBUH totally that what he did and why and the letter would all play out because Allah SWT wouldn’t allow failure to the believers in this scenario.
