Second lap. Warmed up and fell into a nice rhythm.

What were you riding dude?

I was on a Husky 350. Riding pretty slowly ;)

Awesome control on such a big adventure bike! What settings did you use for this ride? Offroad or rally?
@advweekender570911 күн бұрын
@@olityson thanks dude. My go to is usually off road 2. It doesn’t spin up as much on the climbs and wet rock in off road throttle as opposed to rally.

@@advweekender5709cheers, so much to try out when I get the R next week. Thanks for your prompt reply and keep up the impressive skills 💥💥💥

Oh another question: do you rock the original sprockets or did you tune down on a 15 front and whatever back?
@advweekender570910 күн бұрын
@@olityson no probs dude. I’m running the same gearing as stock. But I’ve swapped the chain and sprockets to a 520 size.

@@advweekender5709 cool thanks! and what rims? the PP heavy duty?
@advweekender57098 ай бұрын
No problem dude. I’m using SM Pro aftermarket wheels. 1.85 and 2.50 so I have a better choice of aggressive tyres.

@@advweekender5709 may i ask you 1 more question? since i'm more the amateur adv rider but interested in stuff like sweet lamb or valley lite (maybe), what would be your advice: is it a bad idea to think about this stuff but staying on stock rims and 150 tyres 50:50 like anakee wild? i'm not going to try to reach your pace but riding such stuff really attracts me. there is always some trouble with road legality when switching to 140 rims/tyres and i'm doing a lot of traveling where 150 is ok for me.
@advweekender57098 ай бұрын
I’m happy to answer as many questions as you like dude. You will have no problems running the 150 rear. Still a good range of tyres to choose from that will be just fine. Friends of mine are still running the 150 and do some pretty hard stuff no problems. Motoz have a good range of tyres and the mitas e09 seems to be popular.

Nice lap, you made it look easy. I see how the guy in jeans went down. 😮

Figured he was going to live. Got tunnel vision and didn’t grab a marshal. Went down pretty hard.

@@advweekender5709 lolol love the honesty. Here was me thinking, ah there's a helpful fella... but yeah although it definitely would've hurt, ultimately it looked like a bad shoulder stinger and he would've been fine I'm sure.

So how many hours did the cleanup take?😂. I’ve got a 790R and man, the mud hides everywhere!!!
@advweekender57098 ай бұрын
@@jeffvincent1960 about 2 and a half hours dude 😂. The mud at this venue dries like cement! And yes the 790/ 890 has so many hiding spots where the mud gathers.
