Near Vallourec Steel, the blast furnace called Jeanette of the Brier Hill Steel Company was sold to the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company in 1923. Jeanette was demolished in 1997.

I believe those ladles at around 5:00 are for dumping slag which is a biproduct of making steel and is usually dumped in a molten state somewhere on the steel mill grounds. Nice to see steel mill activity at Youngstown though I realize it's nothing like it used to be around 50 years ago. Thanks for sharing!
