Looks like the program is of to a good start. And that sheriff made a great choice in picking you. I can understand your statement of avoiding Veterans. I watched my father do it for most of my life. He wouldn’t wear anything or display anything that would indicate he was a vet. Let alone a Vietnam vet. Over the last few years he now wears a hat displaying such. The best to you and the program. These vets started off on a good path. Their willingness to do service is what brought them to this point. Where our government false. We need good people like you who know their struggles and demons. To help them. The best of success to you and the program.

Totally Awesome! Life’s wholistic it’s all connected working with horses transfers over into so many other things in life. Especially working on yourself and learning to be patient with yourself, forgiving yourself and giving yourself another shot. You’re not perfect but look for the smallest change,or try and let that take you to the next one. Thanks for everything you do and all the videos you make. You could easily just not pass the information on, so thank you. Danny Reid Wichita Ks Trying my best with what you’re teaching on an Arabian gelding.

Wow guys this was awesome!! Horses are an amazing creature and they have this healing power the possesses the human soul. It stays with you forever and the love you have for them transcends time. I truly feel that the problem with all the stress in peoples lives is they have forgotten how to truly connect with nature and the animals in it. When I get on top of a horse, every worry of the mundane life gets washed away and it grounds me. So when Pat refers to how special a horse is and how willing they are to be apart of your life and to be a partner, he is so right. Pat and Deb, you are wonderful people and thank you for sharing the wonderful knowledge and stories of all the wonderful things you are doing for not only people but most importantly for horses!!

Pat...ha! you may have only begun with 5 days with these folks, but I'll bet anything, you've left their minds with impressions that will go with them the rest of their lives! You yourself and the great, kind, wonderful man you are, but you are telling these folks you believe in them, because the horses do too! This is a magnificent program and should be in every prison. The number of these prisoners returning would be so low, if none! Im so glad you took it on for a longer duration. These folks need to know the feeling of the inside of the horse. The breath of a horse and the heart of a horse and they'll surely learn how to go about getting those feelings the best way from you!

Well that sounds like a really good deal. Giving the people a confidence and skill and truly help them. And using horses that will be able to help and handle it. I have friends that work in horse therapy for veterans. I have experienced this with my own horse and veterans and how much the simplest of things. Like just being with him and brushing and petting him makes them feel. And the joy it brings them. Horses are equalizers in a way as you said. But they are a being that can truly change lives and inspire others. Not everyone but the ones that get it truly get it. And it takes them to a higher level and standard in everything else that they do. Especially once the human starts to realize how in tune they are and how sensitive and subtle things can be. Good job and hope that the program is a great success!

Fantastic!!! My partner works with traumatized kids through horse therapy. The results she gets are amazing. I would expect nothing less from Valor. Everything you said about how horses can connect with people is true. I've seen it hundreds of times in my 50+ years working with horses. There is something about horses that breaks down barriers a very soft way.

This is valuable I think. Horses have taught me a lot about life. How to conduct myself. They have surely solved my worst days. They remind me to offer my best and how it's received isn't upto to me but I can keep trying. I have also learned alot about asking a trying horse. You gotta pay off some effort and sometimes ask easier trys. You know what else, you can't be a doormat. The sweetest, best trained horse will try you if you let them. You own a lot of the responsibility for the way you get treated. A horse is just being a horse.

You know what? That's a super way, very good friend. Involved with the Mustang present deal. But they had and still, I believe are still doing it. In Susanville, California and says that we were just over the hill for many years. Doing the Mustang stuff and with younger people it. It will 20 cm later. You can see the phenomenal, but it works also for the prison guard. So that's good and they need people like yourself like myself. That have been around understand. The horse and know that every time you step into these situations you're gonna learn some. Thing I don't care how many of you've been around some repeat themselves summer customers. You have never met before. But boy, they'll leave a mark on you and thank you so much, and we enjoy it my pass. You're videos on because, like I've said in the past. You can get away with saying things. I canpower up God's got plans for us and I'm very, very. Grateful that we have horses in our lives. That that's how we live. That is a phenomenal way to live
