Clove rarely sees any play in pro play and since they were happy to gut Viper for ranked, since she was a problem there and they left Reyna untouched for so long, I don't see why a nerf to Clove is necessary

As a current Diamond Deadlock OTP, I agree on most of the takes Giving her the ability to watch flank would be too much, but she's overall a very solid agent if the game is going your way. What I would disagree on is saying she is better than Cypher and Killjoy which both have more kill potential and overall have a more versatile kit that is much harder to bypass than Deadlock's I have lost count of the absurd amount of times where an enemy runs into my trip only to be replaced/backed up by someone who is slightly late and who is not stunned (or just straight up headshots me while under the concuss effect). I also have lost track of the amount of times where a single smoke can entirely counter my trip, as they can push into it as they please and since I am not KJ I can't damage them without spraying and exposing myself to the backlack, and I'm not Cypher so I simply cannot see them. Deadlock is also the only sentinel in the game to not have any rechargeable util, so she becomes useless during a retake if she already used everything she had to stall succesfully when Cypher still has Cam, KJ has turret, Vyse has flash... you get it. Overall I agree with you, she's strong, but she clearly isn't the best now and it's not because she can't watch flank, it's because enemies with a brain can easily work around her to counter her and how powerless she can be in a retake scenario.

Like yea she doesn't flank watch, but her point is to stop hard pushes whereas Cypher trips to a degree do that and flank watch. Maybe now Cypher trips are more tuned down but still I wouldn't be opposed to that change.

You are correct to put Clove above Omen in tierlist of fill roles, but Omen is better than Clove for soloq even after the nerfs. Clove winrate is inflated by duelist (especially Reyna) fills and Omen winrate is deflated by also fills from people who don't main him. Omen is most versatile agent in the game. He has both entry and lurk potential, none of controllers have, he has arguably best outplay potential on par with outplay king Yoru, has best flash and mid ult. Also you can still do more 1ways than any other character in the game, it is just harder to do them. Clove players are immediately strong, due to their kit, Omen mains who master that agent are just stronger, but it takes effort that filling players will never make.

ur cooking with the deadlock take, she obliterates overly aggressive teams (most ranked games mind you) her net can be used to take space and punish aggressive plays, the wall can be used to isolate peple when done right and the trips are the weakest part of her kit but they're still good at punishing dive obviously she's weak against teams that take it slow but in most ranked games you probably won't have to adapt to that, there's a very good reason why she has one of the highest wrs in high elo

I agree on the fact that Harbor is weak right now and walking through his wall slows you is kinda annoying but I think Harbor's "E" ability that is the wall is somewhat useful as you can turn it and it can cover multiple points of map with 1 utility like on abyss or pearl or even breeze which have larger areas to cover, harbor's wall comes handy as with 1 wall you can cover almost all site entry points. Saying that I still think it needs something more to it like how viper's wall decays and stuff so maybe a little stronger slow for enemy and eliminate the fact that it slows your team too, maybe making his cove a little stronger or his ult does something better. Riot really needs to come up with something for him.

His E has a problem though, you have to be in a very specific position to actually smoke it off well. For example, you can't smoke A from C in Haven but you also can't do a good smoke from B because the only way to do it is to either make a weirdly angled wall which gives the opponents some cheesy angles or the wall won't cover all angles. Not to mention, if you see a harbor smoke, you know Harbor has to be there.

@speedforce8970 I agree that smoking across the map is not possible with Harbor but i think that's not Harbor's play style at all like viper. They have walls so they can focus on a specific site but unlike viper which has a wall which can't be reused if the enemy decides to rotate but Harbor can. Also if you are choosing Harbor for a map like heaven it might feel weak depending on the play style but yeah you definitely can cover B and C through B site and similarly A and B through B but yeah might give a few rat spots. I believe Harbor is useful for longer maps like breeze, fracture, abyss. Even Viper's wall gives out a headshot angle on breeze through A site stairs but Harbor's wall blocks that too. All this saying I still think Harbor's util is weak and does needs help but as an agent I feel harbor is unique.

Omen is definitely higher than B tier man. Losing a couple one ways sucks but it he was literally the best character in the game before nerfs and is still probably top 5; blind/teleport combo literally makes him an initiator and duelist along with controller and you can carry your team by doing basically everything and entry/get some easy frags on the board when your duelist is lacking

I agree to disagree. Viper is no doubt the worst agent in this game. All you can do is place smokes and not being able to pick them up. When you have no choice but to rotate you won't be able to control the site or smoke mid because you have no smokes. She also has only 1 snakebite so no lineups either like before. Duration of all abilities are also short making the use of smokes useless. With Harbor you still have some freedom with being able to smoke thanks to his wall.

People will random ult or throw abilities in the pit to counter her ult. Take Kayo and Brim. Picking Viper just for her ult is not good enough. The fact that you're winning means you're playing against inpatient players. The point of being a smoker is to lock and control the site. An agent that can reliably rotate and have smokes to help teammates is important. Yes, we can argue to keep one of the smoke abilities for another moment, but what's the point of that on attack side? On defense, she's okay, but horrible on the attack side. Recently a lot of viper players have been struggling even with the ult because players have become aware on what to do and that's spam and not give a s*it.

The reason she got nerfed in the first place was because she was being used a lot in VCT, and she was pretty good. Viper never got any buffs, episode by episode she got nerfed. Before this nerf they had another one where they changed the duration of the smokes to be shorter, and we thought at some point she would get a buff if you look at Neon how she got buffs, how wrong we were. Let me ask you, kiddo. What exactly is “good” about this agent, and why would you choose her over any other smoker? Enlighten me.

Deadlock is still getting a buff she's 100% gonna be broken. think like 2 gravity nets that sounds like hell and absolutely fun. Also I really don't like the fact y'all want neon nerfed she has such a high skill ceiling and is counterable with multiple abilities now that slides get nerfed with stuns and slow orbs. Edit: One more thing as a viper main I get people dislike her feeling weaker. But the fact I can smoke like 14 times a round still makes her strong regardless of any nerf or buff. Also I do find a lot of value on abyss with viper so that's good.

every agent is good if you know how to utilize their kit. The problem with kayo is coordinating with your team that won’t listen. A sova can dart and drone to clear corners. Kayo cannot. Sova is a much safer pick.

There is a lot controversial stuff in this video: First omen is the best controller (cuz he is agressive) Cypher and Kj are best sentinels. The cypher nerf is not that bad. Trips still give a lot of information and Kjs only problem is range. Raze is still very good and dominant on a lot of maps not like iso or yoru??

As a Harbor main (and even when I branch out, I always end up coming back), it's sad to admit he def is the worst in the game at the moment. Even his ult which people say is pretty decent (which in a way it is) is quite subpar in terms of capitalizing since the actual impairment is insanely easy to avoid (and run-and-gun is a whole other thing). Quite frankly, I can even say every part of his kit (outside the stupidity his smokes punish your team) can be buffed so I hope the changes he has coming down the road are good though I will say IMO he can work as a solo controller on several maps just his kit is subpar compared to others.

As ranked goes this is mostly correct. I think you're wrong with the sentinels again as usual (Vyse up, Sage down, Cypher up, Deadlock down, KJ as is) and ofc despite being adamant to use data to support Clove and Deadlock's placements you completely refuse to do so for Neon because it goes against the popular narrative for her, which is disappointing but not surprising.

It doesn't really go against the narrative, for example on Patch 9.10 so far she's still the 3rd highest win rate character, but I think the issue with her isn't really about win% anyway. As much as it's a major point I focus on for some of the other agents, we can't ignore the fact that Neon is a problem that people are BEGGING to be fixed, I didn't figure it was worth mentioning her win-rate since the community sentiment seems to be she's busted.

I disagree woth Breach, i think he should be up with skye and be pretty interchangable on most maps except split (definitely Skye). He works really well with omen since him and oken can section off so much of each site with flashes snd stuns and letting either a jett dive in or a phoenix follow up with a pop flash right after. Also kj should be over deadlock in soloque imo, but just by a bit because its a lot easier to get value out of her

I genuinely don't understand how people think clove needs a nerf, they are probably one of the worst agents in the game, meddle is such a bad and expensive ability, it explodes way too quick, it's extremely easy to dodge and it decays enemies for barely 2 seconds if im not mistaken. Pick me up is decent, but it's still too expensive for how mediocre the ability is, the smokes last for barely 12 seconds, you go into the site, you plant the spike and the smokes already disappeared, the range of the smokes while dead is too small, and finally the ult could have been decent if they either didn't lowered the time to get a kill or added an ult orb

Id disagree with iso beeing a tier and omen beeing b tier even for rank cuz the higher u climb the more value a omen in ur team gets due to the flash also with haven beeing in breach isnt weak however since yoru is only valid in high elo he should move down to b and lastly fade is only decent rn with abyss beeing the best map for her and honestly her kit isnt strong either

I have never been able to earn anything with buff with hundreds of hours in multiple games and valorant points are never in the shop. it does not work and on top of that it might be the most annoying that ever because of how often it has popups and stupid messages that show randomly. I do not care how much they pay me I would never talk good about buff

i have been maining kayo for a long time and gotta say that changing the kayo flash was probably the worst desision they ever made. its unplayable in ranked. a 1.25 second flash isnt enough to get a kill and get out in higher ranks. the other flash is good if not for the fact that you can only really use it for team mates that usually dont even bother following up.
