As an ascendant player who sometimes play without crosshair just for fun, yes, you can get pretty accurate still. I even have clips getting ace although they look very sloppy. What I do is always shoot a single shot to know where my center is before engaging the enemy, and flicks, man, flicks are way more accurate than trying to actually aim.

Ive sometimes went no crosshair even back in cs and something I can say as to how we can still be so accurate is that we dont look at the crosshair when playing, instead we look at where our character is looking at. Its hard to explain but the crosshair is just a guide
