after doing the properties compatibility one, whenever I try to open Valorant my laptop display resolution gets low...how can i fix it?

Any idea why my game would be telling me my resolution is 3840 x 2160? (It's 1080p and I believe the game is running in the larger resolution because I am getting screen-tearing like never before)

I cannot simply change the resolution because the game thinks my monitor itself is 3840 x 2160

FIXED! NVidia Control panel was set to "DSR x4.00" which basically means 4 times the resolution (virtually). I opened the drop-down menu and un-checked the box next to "x4.00".

It means your pc is not good enough for that option and will make your pc worse if you turn in on or off
