You're not gonna believe this dude, but I had to contact Dell customer service today about my game stuttering, so the guy said "Please give me a moment I am checking a KZbin video on how to fix your stuttering". I asked him to send me the video he watched so that I could do this in the future. Dell Tech Support referred me to YOUR video dude! @@reflex3490 Hmm Not really I continued experiencing stutters but for some reason I disabled G-sync and it immediately stopped. I read in a few places that G-Sync gave people stuttering problems. Now what I did was reset all my Nvidia seting to default, Updated to the latest drivers restarted and re-enables G-Sync and now I don't have stutters anymore.

2023 and can confirm this worked for me on win 10 with a 2080ti/8700k. Honestly this has made a world of difference in actual and perceived smoothness. My machine could handle most games at 4k with dlss on quality, but I'd occasionally get these random frame drops/stutters. This trick has made me realize that i havent been using my setup optimally for YEARS. Microsoft needs to really fix this issue as it's totally something on their end.

Ready or Not came out on full release and I had issues in DX11 and DX12. Had ZERO clue what to do, and this right here saved me from attempting to spend money on a 4070 to have these stutters go away. Ready or Not now runs better, but my friends still can't tell who is an enemy or not so I can enjoy my time getting headshot by my friends in real time, no stutter.

My 100+ fps always felt so choppy and was always so stuttery. Especially when it was around 144 to the high 200's, I would be getting high fps but also so much stuttering happening. This helped out a lot man. Sometimes it happens because of bottlenecking. which is caused when one of your components like your gpu is weaker then the cpu causing stutters. or sometimes it may be the gpu being to powerful for the cpu the best way to fix this issue is to upgrade your cpu or gpu so that both components are equally strong enough to support each other.

THIS WORKED SO WELL. Fps in most games was fine already, but this seriously helped with stutters holy cow, feels like I'm experiencing smooth 144fps for the first time again. It seriously helped with some fps in some of my cpu-bound games, some areas went up 20fps, and i have a good cpu too. I did this alongside some other things but this was clearly one of the difference makers.

This completely fixed Modern Warfare, Warzone and Black Ops Cold War stutter issues. Even on the lowest settings with so much file tweaking from other tutorials the games would perform so randomly and experience hard stutters in open areas. Now it's all gone and the framerate and gameplay are buttery smooth. You are awesome!

This is actually amazing. I’ve been having issues with games stuttering and always felt like another program was the cause as I have a 2080ti and i7 7700k with 32gb raam and had random stuttering that didn’t drop frames. Was a very weird lag. Now it’s all but gone as well as games that are not optimized well it also helped their stuttering. Thank you for taking the time to let everyone know how to do this. @@habibmohammed4781 Yeah sure! If it was a temporary fix, that leads me to think that maybe during an update your gamebarpresencewriter reverted back to its original name. Double check to make sure it's still named after what you named it.

I've just done it and am going to restart my computer to see if it helped Edit: It didn't make a huge difference, but I feel like the reason that there is stuttering is because of my game, not my computer. This dude is a legend, it made my gameplay much better, still experiencing some stuttering but this helped a lot. Thank you very much good work. Okay so my problem was unknown but I managed to fix it by removing and then putting my RAMs back and disconnecting my HDD and then reconnecting, not sure what caused it but I'm pretty sure it was my HDD because in task manager the CPU showed 88% when it was just loading the games. For the people who had no problems with their pc and this stuttering started to happen randomly try this, disconnecting and reconnecting your RAMs and HDD and/or SSD.

Dude i cant believe that the solution was this simple! my pc had been giving me lots of trouble recently as in not turning on when plugged in, overheating like an oven then shutting off it was literally useless and its only over a year old. this also fixed a lot of minor issues like the backlit keyboard turning off affter 20 secs then not turning on and weird glitchy sounds when navigating.

What a freaking lifesaver!! Ya guys this works! My stuttering was getting worse and worse and I tried everything I knew to fix it. This solved it and now I’m back to smooth gameplay. Hopefully this is a permanent fix, but so far so good!

same here. i have done the emptystandby thingy, this gameexprnce renaming and also reinstalling my driver. this happened to me before, it was after im installing my gpu without reinstalling windows. the it fixed when i reinstalled my windows but now its happening again, dont tell me i had to do it again -_-

So, the game that was giving me the most headaches was Elden Ring. No matter what solution I try I never get rid of the stutterings. It happens always at about 20 to 30 minutes or so of gaming. It's a minimal stutter, goes by fast, but sometimes it's enough to make you miss a jump or get hit by a easily avoidable attack. And after trying this solution... I still get the stuttering. No changes whasoever. I know this is a very infamous game and many people have this issue, but many people also solved it, so I'm really hoping someday, somehow I'll find a way to eliminate this problem. Thanks anyway.
