Harshvardhan Sir this is very good and informative vdo and very good initiative by you as well. Last year I have sceen your vdo on calculation of higher pension contribution. That is also very helpful vdo. In this current vdo on EPS 95 H P petition, i would like to add one of the another important point and that is EPFO asking salary data prior to 2004 to the employers but many employers do not have salary data prior to 2004 which is happen in my case (I was a banker a year ago). My employer has informed the same to EPFO that they do not have the salary data prior to 2004. Now EPFO said that it is expected that employer should have all the data. Now both are saying that the last date is gone and nothing can be done in this case. Let me tell you since last 1 year till today the status of my H P application on EPFO website is "Pending at Employer end for Approval/ Rejection. Now ppl like me are feeling helpless. If you will add the above point in your petion to Hn Prsdnt, it may be very helpful to many ppls like me.😊

Iam the ex employee of NHPC LTD . Demand letter was issued nd accordingly rs 3070000/- was deposited to EPFO on 15thApril2024 but EPFO deposited the amount back in my account on 6th July 2024 without assigning any reason. Some of NHPC Employee got their money back on the plea that " The amount deposited is returned for pending clarification on trust free rule. Please also include NHPC LTD in your letter for higher pension.

Nice compilation of events. Please note that epfo has started returning demanded amount to retirees of other exempted PSUS also. While returning the money simple interest is being paid to retriees while demanding higher interest as applicable for EPF is being demanded. It may be added here that since 9/2014 to date basic pay of many retirees have been revised due to various reasons and the same is also being verified by their employers but unfortunately the same is not be considered by epfo for higher pension and basic pay on real time basis is being considered by EPFO.

It is useless. One must go to Supreme court seeking immediate action and it must direct PF organization to pay an interim Pension amount monthly till the proper pension is worked out. It is not EPF but the Govt. and employers representatives who dominate the board of trustee are the main obstacle till the direct directive is not given and seek report within a time frame. President has no power except that the same would be forwarded to PM who is responsible for all the delay and denial.

Pension is given to persons above 58 to 60 years of age. Many have already attained the age of 65 to 72 The average survival age of the last generation is around 68. Many have already died. Others are old feeble & ill in some manner. Some are also immobile. EOFO is Not Interested in Giving any Pension ! They are pure Govt employees whereas others are PSU employees. EPFO already has Pension Scheme to the tune of half of their last drawn salary. Govt is formed, politicians are relaxed. They get many pensions for each Membership they hold in Assembly or Parliament.
