unfortunately, most of these ultra-expensive watches are made for maximum conspicuousness. as a result, many of them look like sh!t. the arguably best-looking watch ever made is the IWC mark XII. it cost $5000 at the time of its release (c. 1990). decent copies can still be found today at roughly the same price. don`t believe the hype!
