I just had to tell you that I had a break down last night. I cried and cried and cried because I made two stupid money decisions and it caused a domino effect. I was broken today and went to sit in a park alone and think. In my thoughts, I remembered the video you talked about making it big and losing it all because of you were being flashy and showing off and I thought, I've lost my meager savings I had toward my business. I didn't lose the business. Or millions. Pat lost way more and he survived. And learned. I got up and I promise on my life I am grateful to that video. We never think of the successful people as ever have failed or experienced success and lost it. I am nowhere where you were, I will be ok. My lesson will cost me money and a delay in my plans. But I learned it. Thank you Pat. 💗

I personally set a goal that, at the time, was super crazy big. Instead of changing to an 80% goal, like you mentioned.... I decided to split that larger goal into many smaller goals and chipped away at those. As it stands now, im on track to achieving my crazy big dream/goal. :) Key is good research and admiting when you dont know something. While being humble and courageous enough to admit that you dont know and ask someone who does.

I've been an investor/investment banker for almost 20 years. Even if you're successful, if you do enough deals, painful loss is inevitable. Big losses can even take over your life. I wish this issue was addressed more. It's a very real problem but most people only want to discuss their wins and bury their losses. Thanks for this video.

I think the channel is finding out its identity and market differentiation in the videos it makes. Its a wonderful thing. As most talk about how to win, this is how to deal with a lass.

Pat, thank you very much in presenting this video. I'm a part-time teacher and I have some students who will be going to a higher learning institution. Needless to say, many of these students have vision of grandeur and they need to face reality. I used your video as an example, in which I was able to communicate how to set goals properly and how to monitor and adjust goals. Thank you for this great video.

After watching quite a few of the videos, even if the channel is closed, it would be nice to give a review and say what I like about what you guys have been doing: 1) For the first time in my life I trust the approach of "10 ways"/"10 things" about how to... So far, in my mind "10 ways to become a gazillionaire" meant BS. But this is so well structured and so well anchored in Pat's own experience that I'm watching every video at least twice. 2) Patriarch attitude. I have never seen a big guy with muscles to show so much care and so little arrogance in his speech. I feel like I'm learning from my dad! 3) Stressing important points. I absolutely love that you are repeating certain things. You have hundreds of videos and it's easy to get lost in so much information! 4) Personal approach. You know how tough times feel like, and you know that people that lose in business lose more than that: they lose their personal life, their home, their selves as human beings. And you always go over and over again through that human nature side that starts or stops everything else. 5) Friday evening movie shooting, Sunday Q&A... I mean really? How many are out there that dedicate their late night time and week end to make free sessions? 6) Open attitude. All the interviews are genuine gentlemen discussions. Even that one with Grant Cardone, I don't care he has a potty mouth, I love that he speaks things out loud, I love that interview because there's so much to learn from it! I'm gonna be selfish and hope that you guys will revive this channel in the future, but if not... I'm sure that 400k+ subscribers' lives are getting better because of your effort. Keep up what you're good at and thank you!

Hi Pat, Firstly I want to say thanks for all the great content you put out. I constantly watch your videos and find them very inspiring. I am a young entrepreneur based in the UK that has been in the logistics/freight industry for the last 7 years running my own company and leading a team. I recommended your videos to all my friends who are also on the same path, your style and delivery is amazing. I would really like to see you hit the 1 million subscribers. Keep up the good work! P.s. I think putting "#1 resource for entrepreneurs" in the channel name would help people identify what you are about, and also I like the blackboard format, it's like online classes in entrepreneurship!

You can either choose to set big goals or small goals opt for big goals that you can reach if you try really hard, once you've set your goal attached to a number and given it a deadline the most important part is to develop a strategy, lay out what you're willing to give to attain the goal, tell the world you goals to be pressured to perform and execute on that. When you miss your mark be sure to focus on what you did right first then on the negatives so you'll be in the right state to deal with your shortcomings, rank yourself on how well you did on your execution lastly use your discoveries as a pivot point and go from there

I realize that so many times I saw you asked viewers to subscribe, but I was already subscribed... so I just went on to something else. If you had also asked to share the video... (as you did in this video) but did it with as much enthusiasm as the subscribe pillow, that would have prompted me to share more- if just a few of the 80,000 subscribers were like me you may have made the goal. Why am I saying this? Not to say "you should have done this" but rather it makes me realize that there are little extra or additional things I can request when trying to make my goals- especially when my goals rely on others to make the action step (to place an order, to hire us, etc.). I often forget to ask my existing clients to help promote us to their other contacts.

Hey Pat and team firstly I have to say in birmingham England I should be responsible for a small number of subs including myself. your work in the last 6 months alone has led me to quadruple my income and best of all have more time for my family however, this video to me personally was not your best reason why is because your channel is not one of the best for entrepreneurs. It is the top worldwide without a shadow of a doubt. for the first time I was disappointed because who cares about 100 thousand subs as a goal when you have helped triple the amount, call it spiritual subs that's a guarantee. you guys don't need the rep anyway. You guys did not loose you won you doubled your numbers in less than a quarter of the time and are more than officially on the map for what you do. I know we don't know each other but your work means a lot to me and my entire circle YOU GUYS DO NOT NEED To ADDRESS LOOSING PERSONALLY. how to really deal with a loss (dont) WIN BIGGER (paraphrased from you guys work)

WOW! Talk about timing! I am launching my own business and I moved like "Mellow Carmello" unfortunately. I have been analyzing and assessing the faults in my strategy and mindset. (33 Strategies of War actually helped alot although I am still reading it. At the moment I am pushing to meet my deadline (1 October) and I am actually thinking of what strategies to put in place if I don't make my deadline. Here's my question: Should I consider reviewing the 6 strategies to respond to a loss on a daily or weekly basis even before the deadline date to make this and future endeavours successful?

It is frequently said that, "We learn more from our failures than from our success." Setting some goals at a 80% attainability makes sense, but it would also seem that setting easily attainable short-term goals would build momentum and faith (buy-in) in the process. -There is a book titled "Switch: How to change things when change is hard," that I think would be useful. Pat, I would like to know your thoughts on this book as sometimes a business or an individual requires major changes to keep up with market demands and bringing people with you can be the slowest part of the process, without destroying morale with hiring and firing. So, the question would be, "How do you keep morale and motivation in the green, and keep problems manageable, as you deal with major and necessary changes?" Like you said elsewhere, 'Those who can handle high pressure are highly successful.' Perhaps the answer is somewhere along the lines of "Keep It Simple Stupid," maybe not.
