Sammy’s anger comes from the fact that he put dozens, literally dozens of men behind bars, not just Gotti like he always talks about. Michael was known for leaving the life, not being a snitch because like he made it clear, he never put a single person behind bars and that’s matter of record. For people to think Michael didn’t put in work on the streets before he became made is laughable, he just can’t talk about it like Sammy can because he snitched and has immunity, Michael doesn’t. After Michael started making big money, why would he still want to be putting in work like that? It would take a psychopath like Sammy was to still want to do those kind of things for fun when it wasn’t needed. Anybody can find a trigger guy on the streets but finding someone who brought in the type of money Michael brought in for the family was near impossible.

You're right, Chiseled... But it sure was entertaining. And 30 years ago if this fight happened... Wow... The bosses would've had to force them to stop and make up... like they were kids. Ha! Because they were both earners and the mob wouldn't need them fighting over school yard shit. But it was pretty funny when Franzese said to Sammy... who ever heard of you. Oh, c'mon Michael... Sammy was in the NY media for years every day. There were columns dedicated strictly to mob news. That's how much bigger the mob was back then. I was a 13-year-old when Sammy and John were busted together in the end of 1990... Even I knew who both of them were. They were about the #1 and #2 most well known mobsters in the entire NY mob at that time... Though that was all John's fault for putting mob life on full blast like a dope. But I digress.

@Adam Chapman, Franzese is a liar. Watch his channel. Watch the stories he tells. He always finds a way to implicate others while distancing himself from anything other than his gas tax scam (which he was convicted of). He also lies about not knowing where all of his cash was hidden. You don’t lose track of $100M in cash. He knows where it’s at, how to access it, and how to keep it away from the IRS. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up back in prison on tax evasion charges by 2030. Franzese wasn’t about cosa nostra. He was about making money and building a reputation in the media. He wanted people to look at him the same way they did John Gotti. Now he wants people to look at him as a sweet Christian man. Hell, he could become a Senator with his song and dance routine. Sammy learned from the guys who were already old timers in cosa nostra. He learned how you’re supposed to do business. Sammy was a hitman, among other things, but he he had respect from the bosses early on. Unlike Franzese, Sammy doesn’t put on a front about who is was or is. Sammy was one of the biggest gangsters of all time. He’s a legit tough guy. Franzese is afraid to ruin his manicure. If you think Sammy ain’t legit then you don’t know cosa nostra or Sammy.

I mean you could be telling the God's honest truth and being sensible but Sammy just won't accept it--no matter what. 3) I'm a fan of both men because they're successful in their own right. Sammy is cunning, street smart, in your face, dangerous, and tough as oak while Michael is a mix of savvy finesse, gentlemanly charm, and sharp acumen.
