You don't know how to transfer a good message? Louis, you're already doing it! You are showing that a happy life isn't about putting yourself in the center of attention, or having to wear fancy clothes, or to need and ask for a lot all the time. You show us that life is about being grateful, being honest and friendly and about valuing the people you are surrounded by. You are a great person, Louis, and I'm (and I think I represent many people) really glad that you share your life(style) with us.

Dear Brighty Moon, thank you for your kindness and I agree with you. My brother died of Cancer and and the trauma of the illness plus his death really shook us all into utter frustration and sadness, then my mother who never got over his death deteriorated and died. I was on the verge of despair but the turning point for me was one night turning on KZbin. I cannot thank enough Louis and the KZbin family of film makers for giving me back a feeling of hope. Have a lovely day.

Louis this is how you, as a youtube role model, inspire your fans and empower woman. You treat EVERYBODY that crosses your path with the upmost respect and care. You look at every girl and woman you come across,whether it be personably or not,with genuine interest. You are a down to earth, loving,friendly guy and you let woman know that there are guys like you in the world. Thank you for that. Dont worry about the message you are sending, its all good and you are an admirable man. Truly.

I think if you keep putting out this amazing positive view that it will show people how you can value yourself, even if you aren't a girl. I'm female and I think the messages you send out are very inspirational and makes people excited to see that inspiration out there, rather then the things the Miley Cyrus people of the world do.

i think miley is just expressing herself because shes been trapped in the whole 'disney frame' her whole life. as you said shes young and for her its light hearted and for me as a viewer its light hearted too. i love her confidence and i love that shes fierce so for me its not a problem.

I think KZbinrs and especially the group of KZbinrs you spend a lot of time with are an excellent example of individuals being "famous" and impactful without being objectified. KZbin is fantastic because it allows so many people to show and to see that being yourself is ok. You can always connect with others who will embrace you too. Maybe I am just overenamored with KZbin, but I feel as if it has had a significant social impact on acceptance of "alternative lifestyles".

I think Louis is already sending a good message by living his life. He lives untethered to one specific place and gives to others constantly. He has dedicated himself to uploading videos for others to gain enjoyment from and doesn't ask for much in return. How is that not a good message?
@LITTLEbubblegummm11 жыл бұрын
That is the exact kind of advise I am trying to give my little sister. It is not about being pretty and sexy. You have to be confident with your personality and your values and opinions that you have on life. Embrace the little things in life and don't waste your time by being worried about how you look.
@12sal6511 жыл бұрын
i agree with you about peoples impact on society. my dance teacher was telling us about how her 9 year old daughter wanted to wear a skimpy outfit that was similar to what miley wore in her video clip, and when her mum told her no she swore at her! like the effect that celebrities and older people have is insane.

Louis your very existence is promoting good, and valuing yourself. Anyone can say value yourself, be who you want to be & question things but it's a whole other level of inspirational to see someone DOING just that every single day of their lives. Louis, you aren't ranting at all :) Truly wise words of wisdom here. I have friends who have gone down the road of glorifying themselves, mostly attracting the wrong attention using their bodies.. and in the end, I've spoken to them when they are at their low, when no one else is there to listen to them, I hear their sad stories of how empty they feel inside, despite all the attention they get. More women need to inspire & empower others in a more positive way without objectifying themselves.

I think is really refreshing for someone to speak out about how one presents themselves to others. I think we all know Miley is more or less doing this for publicity, but I love that you what people…women, whoever to promote themselves in a positive manner. I agree that we should talk about valuing ourselves more as people not just as 'objects' or on what we look like. It's an important issue that affects both guys and girls and I really hope that young girls especially are able to understand this. From a relationship perspective, If u are able to get to the point where u value yourself completely, u become aware of what u deserve or what you should expect from other people and it makes it easier to walk away from anyone that doesnt see your worth.

Personally I am not easily effected by the media. And because of that I thought other weren't aswell. Until yesterday when I saw 3 girls aged 13/14 on a bench. They were talking about girl stuff, I overheard them talking about boys. Then they swithed to the subject twerking. They discussed how good they were and that they'd do it for boys, and loved how the boys liked it. I was very chocked by this conversation and made me question the media's influence on young people. Louis you're doing great!

Louis this video makes me so happy, it's so great to see someone with a platform like yours is conveying such a great message. I even question the enormity of beauty gurus on youtube these days. Although most of them seem like genuinely nice people i can't stand their impact on young girls in subtle yet such impactable ways. All the 'hauls' and 'makeup tutorials' teaching kids they need all these material objects and alter their looks to be beautiful and accepted by society...

Hi Louis (and every young or old woman or man who wants) to understand how to help women and girls in society and by doing so society at large should look for a copy of The Feminine mystique by Betty Friedan. I was a spice girl feminist from the late 90's (about same age as Louis) &was dismissive of what had come before me. Reading this book was an eye opener which gave context to societal history &drastically changed the way I view today's world and my place/responsibility to it&to other women.

I was not a child who was interested in being Madonna. I thought what she was doing was fine, it just wasn't who I was so I didn't jump on the bandwagon. I loved rock and roll so that had some influence on my thinking but so did Madonna's "Human Nature" I am now an adult I see what children are influenced by. I try inspire. educate.
