When replacing the valve cover gasket, there is a constant problem with the valve cover o-rings. At installation it is necessary to lubricate these rings thoroughly with sealant, but even this does not always help and valve covers are constantly in oil leaks. These rings are sold complete with valve covers:
059103470Q - the right cover, the price is about $ 150;
059103469АА - the left cover, the price is about $ 150.
If you carefully search (I have not found it yet), then you can buy new sealing rings separately:
Akkusan TR1326 or LCC Products TR13 26
the price of these rings is quite acceptable, about $ 13 for 6 pieces.
But there is a more reliable and cheaper option:
sealing bushings from KAMAZ No. 740.1003.2014,
price for one piece ranging from $ 0.13 to $ 0.5. So the price for 6 pieces - no more than $ 2.
Installing is very simple, from the inside we insert into the "native" sealing rings. But, their height is a little more, they will interfere with connecting the return line, so it is necessary to cut off 2-3 mm either from the return side or around the circumference.
As practice has shown, after such an upgrade, valve covers are constantly dry in a light layer of dust.
