I'm confused at the cartridge position. At this step, kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYGahWSkasmfo7c, the word 'hot side' appears on the left with the teeth left/right. Then when installing the volume control handle step, kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYGahWSkasmfo7c, 'hot side' appears on top with the teeth on top/bottom. Does the cartridge and 'hot side' get rotated at a certain point? The video never shows it getting moved. Same with the instructions it came with. The diagram shows it appearing like that with no indication of moving the orientation. I have the cartridge with 'hot side' on the left, and due to the teeth position of left/right, the handle attaches on the 'on' position (3 o' clock), instead of the 'off' position (6 o' clock).

I had a broken cartridge so the 'on' and 'off' never worked, thus confusing me on the 'hot side' direction. When initially installing 'hot side' points left. Then when installing the handle, point it down to turn if off with 'hot side' pointed up as you do the rest of the work

My brand new valve. The cartridge won’t seat properly with Hot label on left. It doesn’t key in properly to the small tabs that need lined up to valve body. So I installed the only way it could fit into slots. Just finishing trim out of shower but the divertor works well but I have a decent amount of pressure always flowing out. The valve will not stop the water in ‘off’. Everything feels correct Just can’t turn it totally off. More than a drip it’s like 1/4 flow or more. Cartridge not seated right or something with the hot side being incorrect. My plumber roughed in. I’m finishing the job

Did it come with silicone? If it does, you could apply the silicone to the rubber ring.

Hey peeps..I almost done with my new shower... installing this vavle..but the trim sleeve doesn't fit over the bonnet!!!! Anyone else have this issue...need help plz...

I’m having the same trouble. The sleeve fits over the valve body but only if I don’t install the big O-ring. If I put the O-ring on there’s interference and the sleeve will cut into the O-ring if I press too hard. Did you solve this?

I was told that I needed this rough in R-22000 for my bathroom remodel. I had a design in mind and ordered the shower head, hand shower with slide bar along with a 3 setting diverter trim. Do I need to cap off anything? I had someone come and look and they asked if I was going to add the body sprays. Will this R-22000 still work or do I need to install the 6 setting rough? Thank you

The R22000 works with either 3 or 6 setting (2 or 3 function) trims. When using a 3 setting diverter, the right outlet must be capped and the 2nd function must be plumbed to the left outlet.

It looks like I can use this to operate 2 shower heads on one valve. How does it work? Can you operate the 2 shower heads independently and together?

Yes you can operate two shower heads independently or simultaneously. You also have a third option on the right hand side for body sprayers or even another shower head.

Need help taking off my handle to get to the rotational limit stop. I’ve tried pressing and pulling from every angle and can’t get it off. There’s no slot screw or anything to take it off and I’ve taken off the whole trim already besides the valve handle
