Better than being permanently vac banned for unlocking console in MW2. (Ban is now 14+ years old) My 13 year old self just wanted to do some iSnipe lobby. Also unable to get 5 and 10 year veteran coin in CS2, leave rating in workshop and free games on steam. Back in time when I decided to keep the account and not switch valve TOS said "VAC ban only affects game you are VAC banned in" it has changed since. But i feel like its too late now as i have over 2k games on my account so yea. Id be ok with some 25 year vac ban but permanent is too harsh.

i feel like skins should go up if a lot of the heavy hitter accounts got the ban. if loaded hoard accounts got trade banned then there will be massive gaps in skins on the market and random skins will go up depending on what inventory beceomes limited

For a whole year on CS2, believe me on the 600+ hrs I spent playing it I’ve never once encountered a cheater ever… until last night 😭😭😭 Also theory from what I heard, half of CS2’s player count is fully botted by Chinese case farmers with cheats on 100-350k accounts, Valve doesn’t want to fix anticheat or else it’s bad for the skin economy. If they want more money they’ll do ban waves and the case farmers have to buy prime on ALL accounts which is more $$ for Valve 🤷‍♂️

I don't think he did the mass level of farming the rest did. He showed in his video he farmed like 170 stars in 30 minutes or something, which is nothing compared to what these other people were doing. People farming thousands of stars and dozens of passes deserved much worse for the damage they're going to do to the economy and the advantage they have. Even in a year they'll still have their items and be able to unleash them on the market.

Valve definitely did this to prevent a market flood when the trade lock expires on the new items. But they've only delayed it. 2:30 Dona is so insufferable ALWAYS. God why is she so annoying. There should be a massive lawsuit against valve for not coding the armory progression properly, instead of banning players for figuring out ways to get stars faster. If the game allows you to do it, then it shouldn't be something you can get banned for because the game allowed it to begin with, and instead, the coders should get fired. Also, how can you figure out who did xp farming but haven't banned anyone in 20 years that the game has been out for cheating and using external software actually goong against your own coding which is something bad not just figuring out quicker ways to not spend all of you time trying to get stars.
