you turned the engine backwards when you pinned it, therefore you didn't take up the timing gear lash when you pinned it and potentially didn't have it at true tdc. easy way to remember is the ratchet always pushes to the driver side, it happens but then again shit does to.

Thanks for the video - Dustin did you remove the injectors to rotate the engine? It seems like there is very little resistance when you are operating the ratchet (it only looks like a 1/2" ratchet too!) Could you barr the engine with the injectors in?

thems are way loose. when i go to adjust, i can't even get the feeler gauge in. sure did take alot of other parts off. i usually leave all of the air filter tubing, exhaust on.

Muchos diferentes camiones lo usan, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, International, Western Star, incluso asta hace unos años atras Volvo, esto es teniendo en cuenta que desde el 2010 Caterpillar no produce motores para camiones, pero hay camiones del 2011 que los vas a encontrar con Caterpillar, porque fueron fabricado durante la etapa finad del 2010 o pricipios del 2011.

Cant beat Cummins over head adjustments just 4 per cylinder! dont get me wrong I love cat but since they got out of the highway industry I sure as hell am not gonna go for detroit or Intercraptional.

wow, if I have to rate this video I would have to give you an F, why? well you did it just right, but you didn't even mentioned that you did the injectors, what's the purpose of having the valve covers off doing the valves and jakes and not the injectors.If I was the owner of this truck I would have left your place thinking you did the injectors too, and don't get me wrong you did it very well but to me as the owner you only did half the work.

This video is only valves and jakes because they pretty much adjust the same way...the injectors have to be set with a dial indicator and is a completely different preceadure although i agree it should be done while you have the covers off...I am in the process of making a video on how to set the injectors
