As a young person, look else where, these are not cars to have at a young age. It’s not a matter of things going bad, it’s a matter of being willing to fix everything associated when things go bad. E46 love to have compound issues.

no they are not what? Never called em unreliable, simply said they love to compound issues, and that's not cheap. While parts are easy to find, and the job is relatively easy to do, having to fix multiple issues at a time drains pockets quick. Plus at this point these cars are well over 20yrs old. Wtf you on about the e46 m3 is the worst sounding m3 ever. Sounds like a broken ricer car and no matter what you do to it it just keeps sounding bad. This one and 1 other with a carbon airbox is the only one I heard sounding ok.

This really needs to be fully equal length before the X pipe to refine the sound. Even with equal length headers, the system is not equal length because the distance from the collectors to section 1 is not the same. If you fix that issue, you will notice a big improvement in sound. If this still has a stock style H pipe, throwing that in the garbage where it belongs and giving it an X pipe, will also make an improvement. You'll get a decrease in rasp and an increase in the more musical sound everyone actually wants.

Intake will make ur induction noise louder which is separate to exhaust sound. IMO sounds better with csl carbon intake but is subjective
