Hi guys! Let's talk about Permanent Waves :)
This procedure was very popular in the 90s, but it lost its fame because of hair damage. Despite this, a lot of women still love curls and waves. Even with the risk of damage. I love curls very much and perform the procedure very carefully. In my practice, this is the main procedure. Over the past 6-7 years, I have tested a huge amount of materials for making curls and hair restoration. Also, I found methods and materials to maintain the quality of the hair while making curls.
I present to you a demo version of Permanent Waving
In the full video, I will show the whole procedure and explain my actions. The full video is in Russian, but with English subtitles (I don’t know English well enough to explain some details). You will be able to see the details of my technique and the materials that I use to make curls. Permanent Waves is a difficult procedure and requires to make every tiny step accurately. You will also learn how to maintain quality of the hair and what materials it takes.

Amazing. I've been trying for 17 years to get this kind of perm for long hair. Another person from Canada was so right - they never turn this good. Weak limp crimped instead of spiral curls that never start out true to the rod. Hair ends up looking like I've used a crimping iron (why anyone would want that look!). Every stylist will say " with long hair you can't expect miracles ..the weight will weigh a perm down". Wish you would say what perming product you've used. Gorgeous!!

This is amazing! It appears you applied the waving lotion to the strands of hair and rolled while saturated versus applying after the hair is rolled. This technique ensures it’s saturated all the way through!

Yep, you have to be able to roll it really fast for this method, so having 2 people rolling is key for wrapping with solution on very long hair!

Ive never seen anyone with your technique here in canada and not to be rude but down here the perms never come out good and end up leaving you with frizzy damaged hair and not curly :/ pls visit canada!!!!!

My grandpa used to do my perms, he has been working on hair for 60 years. So his perms were super nice cuz he used to do them a lot since the 70s lol Good hair runs in the family so I'm thinking on getting a perm soon. Please if you want to get a perm, make sure you have healthy hair, if not youre gonna end up with fried hair, Perm opens up the hair pores completely so make sure you let your hair rest for AT LEAST 6 months, i would recomend a year honestly.

Hey! I think i have healthy hair but it's 20 inches and pin STRAIGHT...I'm thinking of doing a curly perm but i'm worried how to keep it healthy or how it will be as my hair continues to grow out...

@sararifat check your ends. Do you have split ends? Have you dyed your hair in the past 6 months? If so, which color? If it's healthy and you haven't done anything to your hair in a while, go for it! 🙌 Sadly your hair will grow straight so eventually you will have to start cutting your ends until all the perm is out. In my case my hair grew exactly the same as it was before. I hope this helps!

Need proper tutorial for the same, products you are using, how to apply lotion or cream, name of the lotion or cream, how much time is required, which foaming mixture you applied and why, after curl which conditioner should be used. You are an amazing stylist, what a gift. We’re I live the hairdressers do not want to perm, they say it’s old fashion. I bought orange 22mm rods and a quantum alkaline perm to do it myself. I have long healthy hair. Any recommendations how do do it correct and keep it healthy?

this is a very capricious procedure. I use mixes of compositions, compositions for smoothing hair cuticles, composition for protecting hair, restoring composition after the procedure ... It is important how to properly wind, wash off each composition, drying ... There are a lot of things, sorry. The only thing I can say is not to take 22mm barrel. Take 1 centimeter. At 22, nothing will work out for sure.
