I once caught a Japanese torp in a DD right at the start of a match then proceeded to get 6 kills and a win on double digit health. You should always embrace having no health in a dd with AR.

True words, we always avoid early dmg in a DD but good AR buff makes any DD way better

The only downside to getting one is that it's a commonwealth DD SOOO... do you have a strong commonwealth commander to put right into her? I didn't! Still worth it though. Druid is next for me and I do have a spare 21-point commander for her. I'm also considering buying Velos even though I haven't spent $ on this game since the Little White Mouse debacle. I want Velos quite badly though, I'll probably buy it!

Druid is dreadful it genuinely feels like it would need a third gun to be viable.

@@BoxdHound It is a strange layout but I want it. I've got all of the steel DDs (both lol), and many coal DDs so it's just a wanted for the heck of it Reasearch DD. I've pretty much got all of the DDs that I want. Ironically Oland is by far my favorite ship to play, I've learned it's strange playstyle and do well in it (3500 games in her). Yeah that might make me... uhm... different lol. Thanks for the info! Cheers: Robert

@@BoxdHound Ha ha Benham: I soo wanted a Benham but got into the game just a bit late and missed it, Same with Smalland, just missed out. So you like torp boats? Bet you've got Halland then. The research mod for Halland is incredible, a super heal whereas you get more heal AND you receive zero unhealable damage, Halland literally reprints itself, Super engine boost 42.3 knots for the full 2 min of engine boost duration (awesome acceleration included) also you get an additional consumable, so it frees up 3 points in not needing superintendent. The mod Goes in slot 6 so you do lose the reload (or other) there. SOOO worth it. Cheers: Robert
