Vampire In The Garden - Nearly the Best Anime Netflix Ever Made

A Vampire in the Garden is about a young girl, Momo a human soldier who befriends a vampire named Fine in a world where vampires feed on humans for survival. Together, they set out on a dangerous journey toward a rumored paradise where humans and vampires can live in peace.
A very underrated anime, and one that I believe to be nearly perfect in terms of lore, characters, and entertainment, but it definitely misses a few key details that stop it from laying claim to anything.

Also, the reason why there's anime was so short has because it was made entirely from scratch, meaning it's not based on any manga or game, and they probably had a small deadline to make this franchise.

This anime portrays vampires in a very accurate folklore-like way because, in the original mythology of vampires, they can eat human food for little sustenance and sometimes go out in the daytime for a short period. Since this anime is based on Romance, that is rarely shown to have more plot than sexual tension, so strong to the point of transcending a lifetime. Fine may return as a doppelganger who'll regain Fine's memories like Momo got Aria's memories, and they'll both live happily ever after. I think Momo and Mirena were sisters in arms, which would explain why they seem to have a very close relationship.

just watched the movie and I completely agree with this review, show left me feeling unfilled with the plot and would have been better if it was longer to flesh out all the plot points better or if it was shortened down for a movie and they cut out either some of the plot points or removed some of the travel time in the show ( the 2 towns with vampires and humans that only really added like a minute of character development and left me with far to many questions about the world).
