We are in the EU. Schengen is a different thing. And we're in Schengen also since a few months ago, but just for air and water (planes and boats). The land borders are still non-Schengen at the moment.

@@zerefcifer thank you for sharing that - it’s really helpful for fellow travellers!! If you fly in or sail in to Romania then yes you are counted as visiting a Schengen country - if you come over land via car or train you are treated as a non Schengen visitor ❤️
