9:28 Sorry Dex, but that's actually the exact same impact. 8% of 200% is the same as 4% of 100%. But yeah, if you hadn't halved then it would fit your point: 8% is half the impact when applied to a 200% base than it is when applied to a 100% base.

Yea that's why I meant it was stupid. 8% at 200% is not a lot of difference, but 8% at 100% is a ton. When I was talking I was thinking about him halving Damage scaling so I changed it to 4%, but then the statement made no sense

Oh, Dex! I just bought Brotato and I blame you and you should feel good about it. The same for so many other smaller studio/solo developer games. HP Regen vs max HP boils down to this: If you regen 100 HP in the round, then that's like having 100 extra max HP. If you never go under 100 HP in a round, then either all the regen OR the extra 100 max HP were useless. So the question then becomes: What cost more? The amount of regen you needed to be able to regen that 100 HP, or the 100 max HP you didn't need? If you can get 20% damage in exchange for the regen and 30% damage in exchange for the 100 max HP, then the max HP was the bigger waste.

I think if you had more armor or went a little more into dodge, you could have had some chance to stand still. It's still slightly by chance that you can get wrecked either way, though.

What I meant with that is that I was rarely full HP at the end, and because we only get 1 HP per fruit we won't end up getting HP (which is the reason it was at only 2)

I changed the settings because the sound muffle that you put on the microphone dropped and didn't notice, now the settings are changed and I noticed it. I will eventually try to correct it, but since I didn't keep the original I gotta figure out what to do

@@AlkHacNar no, it just changed damage modifications. So if you got an item that gives "+10% Damage", you'd get 50% of that increase, resulting in only +5% actual damage increase.

I just checked it out, I noticed that but since we had -damage % it's normal that it shows something like 1.9 as 1. But when I got +3, I only got +1, which means it is indeed halved and so silly that him and Entrepreneur have the same wording despite working differently

Ich würd gerne nen Run mit dem Generalisten sehen. Ich hab im Internet zwar nen Build mit Kaktuskeulen und Schleudern gefunden, der funktioniert hat, aber das ist halt nur 1 Build. Ich habs mal mit Blitzklingen und Shuriken geschafft, musste aber in dem Run eine Welle ziemlich früh wiederholen, weil ich dumm war und verreckt bin XD. Hab übrigens keine Ahnung, wie der Char auf englisch heißt, deshalb schreib ich auf deutsch. Ist der Char, der 3 Nah- und 3 Fernkampfwaffen ausrüsten muss

life steal can only heal 10 hp per second, its perfect for early but on late game its not enough, you will need other sources of healing at some point

Das 8 auf 4% war lediglich ein Fehler, hätte es dann aber nochmal neu anfangen müssen und hab deshalb gesagt "You know what I mean". 8% auf 200% Damage zu verlieren ist gerade mal 4% vom gesamten Schaden. 8% bei 100% ist 8% vom gesamten Schaden. Deshalb tun die 8% weitaus mehr weh, wenn man nur 100% Schaden hat
