Im so unbelievably happy these guys are still together and creating. I miss the days where albums were crafted to be enjoyed holistically, and they have always done that, with a core band identity and sound yet an evident evolution between each. Looking forward to trying to re-find my attention span and take the new one in 😍 (Probably going to just be Old and listen to Vampires of the City a bit first)

I think albums are still created this way. Billie Eilish is a great example of a popular artist who actually seems to craft her albums with narratives, cohesive storytelling, and with a holistic purpose as you mentioned. It makes you want to buy the album, and I don't know why it took me so long to get a vinyl copy(ies) of VW's work, but that will change soon, especially with their new release.
