The irony is I saw KD last Sunday for the first time. This song in particular was so appealing I’ve sought it out on You Tube. The St. Paul performance was, as far as I could tell, flawless…so this video is startling. I remember thinking at the time, if the band waivers from the percussion track even slightly, it’s going to be chaos. Not sure if that’s what happened here, but yikes. Oh well, we all have rough days at work.

What we can say. 1.It is normal for person to get old. 2.It might be his monitors. 3.King used to forget his not so complicated lyrics and before. He is a proffesional, but when you loose a track of a song just smile and let the audience sing! Everyone knows the lyrics, but it look not creepy when the master tries to produce words-like sounds at the wrong time. I wanna thank him to get on road at his age.

I think correct answer is 2 since he's off by a 1/4 note and was thrown off when he noticed. From the middle of the song onwards he's perfectly back at it

I'm not sure what's going on if the sound is off from the persons phone recording or technically on the band, but everything sounds off and out of tune doesn't sound like king from just touring with mercyful fate a couple years ago

It really hurts me to see King perform like that. Technical issue bla bla , I don't care. He' s been doing this for HALF a CENTURY. No excuses. That' s a TOTAL mess. Same with Welcome Home, I don't know if it's from the same night, but they messed up this classic too. GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER KING. Or stay home.
