I think a new adaptation of Vampirella could work if they went for a dark horror vibe with a fair amount of sensuality. And of course they actually have to care about the movie. Daltrey up to this point had a pretty spotty record as an actor. There's vampire imagery in Lisztomania (to go with the Christ imagery in his earlier collaboration with Ken Russell, the movie version of Tommy). Later he was an evolved dinosaur from an alternate universe on "Sliders".
