This is one of my favorite episodes of BTBATB. Most of the comedy lands really well, like the incongruity of the Joker deciding that since the Weeper was able to steal candy from a baby, that means he's ready for Batman, or the Joker hoping saying that the bat probe might not work, only to be caught 2 seconds later. The scene where Batman announces his plan to the criminals on live television is also hilarious on a meta-level because of how many times Joker has taunted Batman through the television, such as "Christmas With the Joker" or "The Laughing Fish" in BTAS.

😊hi Sasha. I just wanted to say you did a fantastic job with the interview. I am getting accustomed to the Style of your channel and definitely comics that you cover you definitely present comics I have not particularly heard of and that’s great. I always like to find something new whenever possible. So far I have enjoyed all of your videos and your collaboration with Amanda are fun to watch. Keep up the good work catch you on the next video.😊

"Who Cares About Punchline?" Me. I care about Punchline, immensely. Her one-shot set up so much cool shit, and then Gotham Game followed up on none of those things.

Sasha, You're AWESOME! I hated Grant's run. I've been reading X-Men since 1975. Grant turned the team EXCEPTIONALLY White and pushed multiple main characters into the background to shove Emma down our throats. The years have shown, she's best left in the background. Lastly... there are MULTIPLE things wrong with the destruction of Genosha. I get that most mutants are NOT Charlie, Beta, Alpha and Omega level, but more than one person would have predicted that event and more than a few would have been able to fight back. It was VERY forced and focused. The TERRIBLE portrayal of the X-Men in the fox movies combined with trying to change the books to match the movies made me grow disillusioned with the X-Men from the early 2000's till 2018. And while it's GREAT to see X-Men animated return, they are burning through multiple story arches that took years to cover. It does not do character grown any accolades. If anything is shortening the attention span of new viewers. Love your vids, keep up the great work.

I won't says that Batman was the villain and the Joker was the hero, because regarding their definitions, hero is the good guy and villain is the bad guy. But i would says that the Joker was the protagonist and Batman the antagonist in this episode, because the plot was focused since the POV of the Joker, making him the protagonist, meaning that this made Batman the antagonist, for opposes the protagonist.

IMO Superman TAS was the best because of Clancy Brown as Luther. I remember the Superman 88 series but it always aired at the same time another program was on.

My go to is the Crisis on Infinite Earths Absolute edition. My favorite story and a ton of the behind the scenes goings on in the companion volume. I'm really into the behind the scenes workings of the comics industry. What are your recommendations for books about that aspect of comics? I already own Julius Schwartz's biography and Slugfest about the DC Marvel rivalry and All of the Marvels as well as twomorrows DC Implosion. Thanks

Grant Morrison's New X-men and Mark Millar'a Ultimate X-Men were both heavily influenced by the movies. But just about every X-men comic that was coming out in the early 2000s refrenced the movies in some way. I remember the art style in Frank Terri's Wolverine heavily resembled the actors and designs from the movies. Chris Claremont had a pannel in X-Treme X-Men where Storm and Wolverine were mistaken for Halle Berry and Hugh Jackman. Also, one of the biggest effects the movie had, was that the Xavier school actually became a school. While there was the New Mutants and Gen X in the comics before, the movies made it look like a real school with classrooms and multiple teachers, which is something that Morrison instantly took.

If I had a nickel for every morally questionable scientist I've encountered who are named Moira and plays with DNA and genetics like Legos, I'd have two nickels. It's not a lot but it's weird it happened twice. The story reminds me of that Doctor Who episode from 9's era, where an enemy looks into the Heart of the TARDIS and gets regressed to an egg. The Doctor puts them with a family that will raise them with better morals than their evil family. The episode is called Boom Town, if you're interested to look further into it, just don't look directly into the Heart of the TARDIS.

Seeing Batman as an oppressive part of the establishment is all to easy and I'm surprised more isn't made of it expecially with all the attention brought to corrupt polie practices that unfairly target the poor and certain minorities these days.
