8:10 Bone miser is fantastic for this deck as it guarantees value on discard It makes blood tokens actually good, where before they were trash - discard before draw- the worst loot effect

The problem with braid of fire is that the mana you get from it is only useable on your upkeep so it doesn’t do much unless you have some instant speed way to use it.

Ah yes this is nice. I have picked up the deck and I am going trough what to add, looking around what people build. I am too adding cards that benefit of ping damage, artifact advantage and such. Inspiring Statue and Alhamarets Archive and Squee are some cards I will add.

Hey there, I had a question about sinister waltz. I'm confused about how it gets worse as the game keeps going? Since you get to pick three from the graveyard, why are we picking weaker vampires later in the game? Couldn't we just continue picking three of the big vampires? Also, if following that logic, wouldn't it get better as the game move on, because you have more options of big vampires to put in?

I think he overlooked the fact that you can pick the three you want from the grave yard. He might believe that there’s more randomness than their really is but I’m not sure I’m not trying to insult him or anything

11:34 If you play bloodsworn steward on turn three you can play Strefan on 4 with hast and he is a 5/4 so he is beefier too This card is good for this deck where you want strefan attacking all the time

That's a way too niche and unlikely usage for Bloodsworn Steward. There's around a 10% chance for you to even draw the card by, and including, turn 3. That is without counting extra draws. Cost isn't that big of an issue, as a properly constructed deck should net you at least 4 mana by then, but it is a possibility that even if you do manage to draw Bloodsworn Steward, you won't have mana to play him. Then, even if you do have the mana, why not just play Strefan on turn 3? Summoning sickness will be over by turn 4, moreover you can probably proc Strefan's effect at turn 3 as well, provided any player has lost life. Granted, this way Strefan will be a 3/2, but Strefan's use isn't in him attacking.

If you can play Bloodsworn Steward on turn 3, you can probably play Stefan then and cheat out BS on turn 4

You can use other10 better cards than this. Hammer of Purphoros Tuktuk Rubblefort Anger (that you can use with blood tokens) Fervor etc

Very cool, I like what you did. But what to think about Inspiring Statuary? While we are trying fill our board with blood tokens. Why not including this card? I understand braid of fire is cool, but late game, you can still get value from Inspiring Statuary. And turn 4/5 if you manage to get 3 blood tokens this makes you able to generate 4 mana.

what do you think about Inspiring Statuary? I think this is a very good addition. And Braid of Fire... I don´t get it! I loose this mana when i go to the next phase so i can use it only for instants....makes no sense to me in this deck.

I really get the impression that they forgot that you lose all your mana after each phase, there's simply not enough instant speed cards and abilities that cost red mana to justify its inclusion.

So braid of fire only adds manna in the upkeep step and then you lose that manna in the draw step. With that in mind, is it worth still putting in the deck?

I've been playing mtg for a little while now and just started into commander. I'm wondering why would you use exotic orchard? It's in every deck build and I don't know why, if your opponent doesn't have your colors it's a wasted card. Am I missing something?
