Have Daughters of Darkness dvd! A classic, one of a kind! That soundtrack too is fantastic! I never get tired of watching it!

I prefer lesbian vampire films to straight vampires lol!😋 I first saw this on VHS and was surprised by it. I saw it more or less at the same time as Blood Spattered Bride so in my mind I put them on a double feature. Good review and cool video Justin!👍 Ahhh Sadie is so adorable!😘

Definitely you should. It's a genre/subgenre that ranges from the exploitative to the beautiful well thought out love story. Heck Carmilla alone is proof of that. How many films have been inspired by that story alone.

Theres a newer movie out that I've noticed streaming called Lesbian Vampire Hunters. IDK if it's any good but noticed it while trying to find something to watch.

This takes me back. Early 80's, 18 years old, I joined a 100 seat 'cinema club' by which I mean 'p0rn' club (*no internet back in the day) because they were the only place showing Cannibal Holocaust. They had a horror night on Wednesdays. I saw so many of these kind of movies there. Good times - Man those seats were sticky, Hahaha

Vampyres is a much better movie I remember looking at it once and it does have some very creepy scenes in it like one of the vampires sleeping with her eyes wide open, but the entire movie has an eerie feel to it. One more thing there's also a remake of this with Caroline Munro It came out in 2015 but she's older and she's not one of the vampires, but It's not a good movie the original one is much better.
