2:41 i love this bit, it's so random, peter messes up his part while hugh sticks to the melody perfectly, i can't stop laughing.

I was at there, and the atmosphere was amazing, They gave it everything throughout. Highlights were a brilliant La Rossa, an apocalyptic Childlike Faith in Childhood’s End and this Man-Erg. I hate to say it, but I think this may have been the last VdGG gig ever. I hope not, but it felt like a farewell.

Awesome seeing these guys still doing a great performance of one of my favorite VDGG songs. My dad is also in his 70s and just put together a new band who booked their first gig for next month. They do classic rock covers but damn they are tight and age didn't seem to effect them. Is this rare to have 70+ year old musicians still playing this well together? Weird question I know.

They remind me a lot of Nick Drake before the Volkswagen commercial brought him wider attention. Sort of banging your head against a wall saying, can they really be this good, and people don't know about them? I can't think of anyone more underrated really...

I think it's such an unbelievable shame that such a great trend-setting band makes itself so small and leaves nothing for posterity on the internet. Nowadays there are such simple ways of empathetic website design. Unfortunately, the band doesn't use the possibility of a legacy. That hurts me a lot. Unique music will be left behind for posterity ... but nobody will find it. How incredibly sad.

In the past, this band had unconventional members such as a violinist and a cellist, but I wonder if there's a chance for such inclusion in the future.

Don't like completely. Excellent video editing but... in Bath the line-up was not yet sufficiently road-tested (too many difficulties... voice, memory, psychomotricity, presence, energy... especially considering the Italian tour, infinitely higher). The choice to record a video here was clearly an emotional one, but those who follow the band cannot always say 'everything is great'. Banton's organ work is very nice in places with chromatic progressions to make a new arrangement. Always a guarantee Evans, in recent years more than ever (here less). I respect the choice, but I think the band itself has to consider the fact that those who follow it are not always condescending.
