I do the base set of a new set I want to collect in English. Alt arts and special illustrations rares I collect in Japanese. Especially the 151, since the English version is triple or even quadruple, the price of the same card in Japanese. It is insane how English cards have been pushed. I do investing and also enjoy collecting for my personal collection (mainly just singles). I think this is crazy and honestly a little annoying cause there were some alt arts that I wanted to get before this happened. Something going 3x within 3 weeks and justifying it is crazy and a bunch of timmys trying to think its okay and go into it. Im not gonna buy at the inflated prices cause thatll drive into it. Hopefully, they go back down soon cause i do want more for my personal.

Curious how this exact scenario would go if the actual seller followed through by purchasing the cards to then sell their own copies at a higher margin. At that point is it manipulation? Yes, but legally it could be done. In this case, the fact they never intended to buy seems like the key factor in them pursuing this case. Regardless it’s so dumb lmao.

How are you able to put that many items in your cart, that's totally on the website. Same rules go for all collectables. I know of small business production companies that like any other market of things highly sought after they come with purchase per person caps I don't know how laws work across the pond and unless they deny the multiple accounts if there isn't policy put in place he ultimately found a unethical loop hole, which if you are running it as a business, it is a wonderful opportunity but yeah very blatant unethical and grimey but that's business in a nutshell "dog eat dog" it's exactly what the big dogs do to our economy and stock market. Which obvious the company could see exactly what happened while it was happening but they're getting paid. And they are the ones who are to be accountable for what happened and letting it continue for as long as it did.
